Rob i just got the reg cab short bed. Kathys got an suv and now that drew got his license he got a honda civic and its no longer cool to ride with the parents. I no I will prob regret it but got a good deal on it.

Shawn, Thanks and Hope your new truck is awesome! I'm alive cause I was in one of my Z71s and not a lil car.... Loved both I had tons and when I upgraded to my Suburban to pull our big camper I was pleased but sad.... I love a nice pick up! Have FUN with yours!

John, LOL on the joke. LOVE the morning delay!! I Miss having that kinda stuff happen... this "small town" has lost even the small agricultural lifestyle it once had...sigh! Celtics.... NOPE! John, I'm 4'11" and theere is not much I HATE more than basketball! LOL... I watched when Larry Bird played and knew Dave Cowens from horses(his wife and kids ride)....but I find those tall men sickeningly WAY too athletic to watch...lol.. They make something I find IMPOSSIBLE look WAY too easy! Our Son, Dyl is a fan...
SHANNON... just looked at the baby pix again and have to say AWWWWhhhhh! lol....
We are in a pattern of thunderstorms in the PMs which is GOOD for the garden! Means less Bob has to water too! LAST night was anothe night from Hedouble hockey sticks! During the thunder and lightening Daisy totally lost it..... Heart thumping panting crazy mess... and poor Bob in bed with elevated sore foot.... THEN... HE HEARD a CHIRP! The stupid carbon monozide detector was signaling low battery...AGAIN! We have changed it 2x in a couple weeks...GRRRrrrrrr... so I went over with flashlite and as lightening cracked all around me in there... I got the thing down and the battery changed.... and we had slight Peace...for a few minutes... then Daisy lost it again? Didn't Bob hear it chirp again? lol... I don't DO electrical wires...and he is an Elec. Engineer by schooling...so he hobbled over and unhooked the hard wire so we could sleep... and that worked... Poor Daisy just does NOT like the chirp alarm. Webster is NOT scared of that but is of the actual smoke detector going off during fire season. Today... we got a NEW detector! LOL....
Tonight? a full nights sleep will help...got LOTS of work to do at mums..... NEED REST!

When my husband and I arrived at an automobile dealership to pick up our car, we were told the keys had been locked in it. We went to the service department and found a mechanic working feverishly to unlock the driver side door. As I watched from the passenger side, I instinctively tried the door handle and discovered that it was unlocked. 'Hey,' I announced to the technician, 'it's open!' His reply: 'I know. I already got that side.'

This was at the Ford dealership in Canton,MS

We had to have the garage door repaired.
The Sears repairman told us that one of our problems was that we did not have a 'large' enough motor on the opener.
I thought for a minute, and said that we had the largest one Sears made at that time, a 1/2 horsepower.
He shook his head and said, 'Lady, you need a 1/4 horsepower.' I responded that 1/2 was larger than 1/4.
He said, 'NO, it's not..' Four is larger than two.'

We haven't used Sears repair since.

My daughter and I went through the McDonald's take-out window and I gave the clerk a $5 bill.
Our total was $4.25, so I also handed her a quarter.
She said, 'you gave me too much money.' I said, 'Yes I know, but this way you can just give me a dollar bill back.
She sighed and went to get the manager, who asked me to repeat my request.
I did so, and he handed me back the quarter, and said 'We're sorry but we could not do that kind of thing.'
The clerk then proceeded to give me back $1 and 75 cents in change.

Do not confuse the clerks at McD's.

My daughter went to a local Taco Bell and ordered a taco.
She asked the person behind the counter for 'minimal lettuce.'
He said he was sorry, but they only had iceburg lettuce.

Found three Ticks on my dogs yesterday. I picked up a spray at TSC yesterday and mixed it up.
Two weeks ago a good friend of mine had a tick on him. He has been sick since. This week they told him he has lymes disease.

Rob and John congrads on Anniversaries

Been a busy weekend I got a new beat up hunting trucking truck my old 94 with 230000 thousand on it needs a bit of work so I am going to take it off the road for a while my new beater is a 2003 Nissan 2 wheel drive my son total lossed last September but she is back on the road I only had to buy a tail light and a headlight but she is ready to roll I am sure I will like the gas millage not sure about the 2 wheel drive hope every one had a great weekend

Ticks are a never ending battle for me I do not use a bug spray because of my asthemia its funny not only the fumes get it going but the spray on my skin sets it off too but gas fumes or getting it on my skin will to so when I come I put my clothes in the dryer and take a shower its amazing how many ticks I find in the dryer screen

Rob.. I have loved up on that baby boy all weekend !!! Wasn't going to go yesterday bc they came home.. But when Jonathan text me and said .. Mom I know you wanna come over .. Come on... It didn't take long for me together ready ..we had a family cook out as we usually do on Sundays and I didn't hold the baby to long.. I let Christian take 2 of my turns.. Lol ..
