Hernandez... the FORMER Patriot... Arrested FOR Murder today... Stinks...he had every chance to straighten up his life and PERHAPS... he blew it(he COULD be innocent of course?) Anyway...he is History. I know people who met him and called him a punk... young and cocky and for an older person he seemed obnoxious. SAD stuff... Sorry for the family of the murdered man....

I LIKE snakes if they aren't scary poisonous ones. I will hold a lil harmless wild one and gladly hold a pet snake big or small. Love frogs too. SPIDERS HOWEVER turn me into a screaming crazy little girl all over again... although I'm better now than I used to be... Kinda sorta....
WHAT NICE PUPS!!! Love those lil red pups! And Shannon my bluedawg LOVED the chickens... took him one quick grab crush and shake and he could kill our biggest...lol... I decided quickly that we had ruined him and he'd NEVER be able to hunt again..... Greyhounds were just as quick to kill them but MUCH more impressive cause THEY did it while wearing turnout muzzles! lol... Poor Chickens... I do really miss having them..... but not the work..........

Yes I had two black dogs. Or actually my wife did. They were hers, the female was a house dog. Would have made a good cooner but my wife would not let me hunt her. She was my best friend for along time. Broke my heart when she passed. I did show her, not much could touch her. Used her in field trials and water races. Won two pairs classes with her and a dog you may have heard of. World show ch Shorters Va ruger owned by Dr Birdsal and Kathy Shorter.

Rob that's pretty cool.

Man im a little sad tonight, myself and 13 year old daughter took a ride out threw the mountains this evening and we fount 3 coons that had been hit in the road. The bad thing is these roads are gravel and your lucky if you could hit 25 mph. Do pep just ride around looking for things to kill? We hunt in pretty thin coon pop and the area these were in was in places we hunt. I no it happens but 3 in less than two miles on these roads. I my have seen 1 all of last year. Sorry had to vent a little.

I have to work Saturday morning. I might try to make it to New Castle though. But probably will fall asleep,lol.
Trying to get some shows in, I have not been to much at all this year. Time is flying by.

As long as nothing changes will be at Tri-County the 20th. Trying to find some more to hit.

All the pics look great especially the little red chicken dogs.lol

Hi to all of you out there in Sweet Tea Land! Hope you all have a great night and get to do something FUN, get to the woods, have a nice Anniv. dinner, etc.....
We're sitting here watching scary movies. Bob started his 2 week vacation with a bang...lol... Just got home from hosp ER... foot not broken "just" bone bruise.... all bandaged up, supposed to keep wrapped, iced and elevated 72 hrs... He SAYS he wont... I'll kill him!
Our Garden has surprises! We composted stuff from mums and Bob didn't wait till it was really compost...so we have a string bean, a snap pea and what MIGHT be a pinto bean growing! LOL... Zuccini, summer squash starting...Tomatoes showing fruit and some decent lettuce and beet greens for salads! All in some "raised beds"...Bob's "ugly gardens" and a kiddie pool! lol.... YUM! Lots of healthy sunflowers and weeds too....
Also HATE to see roadkill coon here... sigh.
OK... gonna enjoy the night with Bob before he has to take Percocet later to sleep... Pity the dawg who lies on HIS foot tonite!

Well myself and kathy hated to do it but we retired my old 4runner today. She had 325,000 miles and the transmission was about shot. No reverse for the last month. Ended up getting me a chevy z71. If its half the ride of my yota was ill be happy happy happy.

I had a 1991 Chevy Z71 sold it this spring, 217,000 miles on it. Never had a major repair. Guy who bought it drives 1 hour to work each day. I now have a 2005 .GMC Sierra Z71 ext can.

Corky - glad your getting squash. My zucchini's are about 2" long, my cukes have just started to blossom, my sweet corn is waist high and I have tiny peppers and tomatoes. So it will still be a while before I harvest anything.

Heather - are you a Celtic's fan also? They sure gutted that team.

Rob - sounds like your daughter had a very successful season. Congratulations to her.

Shawn - I have had enough rain for a while. They are calling for more storms tonight.
