We didn't do any good this weekend at the Zones. Brummy looked as good as he ever has, we just could not catch a break.

Brummy finished to Grand Show Champion yesterday at Hogansville,GA. Roho Carlise also bred his Kate female back to Brummy yesterday. This is a 2nd time cross. The first litter are 13 months old and all the pups that I know of are running and treeing.

Looked good again tonight. Treed good with Bubba on first dump with Cracker being in a hole in ditch. Next dump they all strike & they go left to edge of field while she goes right in cornfield. They have a triple & she has a single. Love her 'personality' & she's treeing harder in this cooler weather. Waiting to put plenty of coon down to her when season gets here. Congrats on finishing Brummy. Take care, Ron.

I like it Darren, I've followed BB's progress on your thread. With her strong points matched up with Brummy's weak points and vice versa I like the way it sounds, add in her being double Jet 6 on the bottom and the pedigree should line up.

O.T's Jet Blu Crack The Whip

Whip is a 16 month old pup off of the Brummy x Daisy cross owned by myself and Kerry Oswalt. I sent Whip as a pup to Kerry's to be started while I worked on my own pup from the cross, YoHo. Like many of the other pups in that cross, whip was no exception to being an early starter. Kerry did a great job getting him going. After I sold my YoHo female, I decided Id bring whip back to the South and try him out. He adjusted nicely and we've been working hard since.

In recent history Whip has really started to shine in the timber and Im getting excited about hunting him. He's a chop/squall track dog that gives a nice bawl locate and rolls into about a 90 bpm on the wood. He gets open quick and moves tracks well and like I said, is a super nice treedog. Id say it wont be long and he'll make his debute in the hunts.

Curt he's really starting to turn it on these last couple of weeks! I sure liked what I saw out of him last Saturday night. This hide season will really put the finishing touches on him I do believe.

We've been hunting these WMA's since they opened October 15th and treeing a good many coon, a lot of these boys around here won't hunt them because they say there aren't any coons. You've just got to have a dog that will go hunting.

Treed another one on Joe Kurz tonight. David Thomas has been hitting Joe Kurz hard since it opened on October 15th, they've treed at least one every time they've been.

There are a lot of things that I like about Whip, but I think the main thing is his natural born independance. From day one he's always wanted to do his own thing.
