Bill's had Thunder in the timber every night this past week. Didn't have a good camera on him until the last night he went hunting. Thunder has been improving steadily with each drop.

Snickers looks ready for warmer weather, Carl. It's been really nice the last few days, I wish we could talk it into sticking around for good!

Thunder looks great, Bill! Sounded great on the phone too! Thunder is a year and a half old pup off of Tater and Dice.

Aub hit the timber tonight. First drop was Dice & Baby (Rock x Star). Baby just turned a year old, ran and treed her first night out, and has been sitting since November......she ran a good track with Dice and she rolled it over with a beautiful locate and locked her down.

Second drop he cut Tater and Chips. Chips is a littermate to Thunder, ran and treed her second night to the woods, and also hasn't been out since November. They got up over the ridge, and by the time Aubrey got to the top they were split treed. Chips is showing she has the natural independence and lay-up ability like her mom, dad, and grandpas Rip & Clyde.

I went for a little hunt last night. I took Jr and Dreamer and the hit a cold track and treed done a nice job.

Please inform my little buddy that I saw a "RED" dog yesterday at one of the farmer's markets here in San Diego. Yes it was a true Redbone too. 1st hound I see out here and its a redbone. Go figure! Maybe its a sign!

There was a great turnout yesterday at the Decorah American Redbone Sectional. 20+ dogs in both the water race and field trial, probably close to that many in the show, and I don't know how many entries in the hunt, but there was a whole bunch there when I left! Here are the redbone winners as I remember them. Sorry if I forgot anyone!
