Good morning.

vabluegal - getting hot here too.

The game wasn't a very good experience. Got caught in a traffic jam because they shut down the Freeway to film Captain America. Took 1 hour to go 1/2 mile. The start of the game was delayed 2 hours because of rain. Had 3 different rain delays, the game didn't complete until 3 AM. The Indians only got 1 hit and got beat up pretty good. Walked a half mile back to the parking garage and they had it locked up, had to call an attendant to come open the door to let us out. Crawled into bed at 4:52 this morning.

Dan - I am using marabou jibs from Cabelas. I tip them with small minnows or maggots.

Shawn - when I was in my teens I loved the Reds when they had Johnny Bench, Pee Rose, Joe Morgan and those guys.

Rob - I didn't take no pics of the girls. I thought the way my night was going if I took any pics I would either end up in jail or divorce court.

Wendell - that last drop always seems to get me too.

Not sure where they all are. We are to get thunder storms later today. Our club had a hunt, show and water race yesterday. I just went and watched. Did not feel like entering a dog. Minimal turnout.

Morning all,
Posed to get some rain and more storms. Had several yesterday that were pretty bad.

WB,
The last drop always gets you. I have learned that one good one and the dogs get put in the box especially on work nights.

We had a good hunt Saturday night. Had two trees with the leaves on only seen one coon.

I am going to have to make sure my wife never reads the bear attack survival note.

Tractor pull was a success, Went from around 2,000 people there last years to somewhere between 4,000 and 4500 this year. Glad to see people come out and help out the volunteer fire departments and rescue squads.

Thanks for the fishing well wishes. Probably wont fish today, I think I will do some yard work and wait for a warmer day to fish. Today would be a good day to run the beagles.

Corky kathys doing better shes about 80 %. & goes back to work tonight.

John enjoy your vacation. I went fishing yesterday and cought around 20 large mouths. From 6 inches to 16. its a local farm pond. There always fun to fish.

vabluegal let me no if youll need help at the clinic. I guess I will bring your girls down.

Rob the guy nextdoor got some really nice pics of my bear eating his bird food saturday.

Mike glad the truck pull went well. I no every little bit helps.
Wb you give them red dogs there bunny back yet so they can sleep.

Hi Y'all!

Alls well here... not in the NINETIES today! lol... Lots of rain though...
Weekend with Mum busy and TIRING! The better she gets the more we do the tireder we get! I was SO READY to go home last night!

Sorry Rob... GO BRUINS! So SAD for me to think Fleury was not playing to begin with...and came in as the game has fallen apart today early on.... Makes me feel REAL old!
Spent sat pm squeezing about a thous. key limes my HOARDER sister had stored in Brookline. Made 2 frozen key lime pies(THE ONLY KIND in my book!)... One is a surprise for Bobs FIFIETH Bday June 5th! I even got it snuck home into the feezer. Made one for Mum too My hands are killing me... I even double squeezed to get some of the pulp for Bob to use next time he makes his booze (the Krupnik). I had mum taste seom krupnik with fresh squeezed old frozen keylime... and she loved it! lol...
We will see the baby this weekend if all goes well. Bob's aunt will have dinner and cake etc... and the kids will bring Baby Hannah with... I WILL try to remember the cam!
SHANNON... I have NO NEW pix yet! LOL.. Being an hour apart and BUSY etc... we don't see each other...and I don't go on facebook.. so I miss out on everything... I think of you often!!!
I can't try to catch up more... to tired and WATCHING the hockey game(Sorry Rob... Go Bruins!).... lol... I could close my eyes now and sleep thru night but I WONT!

Hey all that second drop got me again treed 2 coons a hundred yards from the truck in less than 10 minutes than we decided to make a drop in the next hollar that dang dog Linkous was a handling got us one the wrong game again it was something else to hear but I sure wish I could have made it that 7 tenths of a mile while they was in the river I bet it was something to see as good as it sounded JC 's pup spy learned a lesson the hard way he took a pretty good hit and was a squalling like it was a killen him but he is ok he be on 3 three legs and a little sore for a while but I have got to give him credit he did not quit stayed in there and kept after it 10 months old and was doing it walker syle whew whoo ya got to love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and for the record the dog I was handling last night belongs to none other than Wendell Lee Bond! Trashy dog made me stay out late chasing them around river bluffs, to chicken to put old blackie up but walking him around baying got within 50 yards of them and they finally quit and came to me and JC...his pup did get hit and it sounded bad but he will be fine...sore but okay should have had ol Rambler he would have made that bruin climb

John you need to come down and hunt with the Va Cartel at one of our cabin hunts...we tree a few coons but mostly eat and pick at one another
