Hope all of you with LOTS of rain are safe...and NO more lightning issues for you Dan!
Haven't talked to Richard and Elizabeth since they are settling at home with the baby but assuming all is just fine or I'd have heard from Richard. He and I are close enough that we don't NEED to be in constant contact....but now that we have the baby involved...I may have to get in touch more! I don't want to seem pushy to him though...LOL...
Was about 80 today here and sunny. Supposed to have some rain of some sort coming. I have to admit I kinda sorta didn't pay attention the million times I tried to listen to the weather...lol... Spaceshot! Still quite tired..as always.... But enjoying the roof getting done and the weather so I overdid it today outside... did some pruning and kinda wrecked my neck. I guess a pole pruner is not so good for me...(DUH!).... The other pruning was more sensible and I hope to do more this Spring. I used to love to prune and have nice shrubs... Been a LONG time since then.........lol...

Rain has held off so far today...with a couple sprinkles here and there. It was nice and I meandered around the place a bit weeding etc... ROofers have gotten lots done so far to try to beat the rain....it will POUR as soon as Bob is ready to leave one of the stores on his way home.... lol... Poor guy.

Nothing new here...still tired.....and still never caught up on here since last friday...LOL... I keep falling asleep trying!

Ms Ruby is a special lady. She is hard as nails ( like most old school teachers are ) but has a heart of gold. She lost her husband in a farm accident years ago My father was still young and remembers when they came and told my grandfather about it ). He and my grandfather helped each other just like many country farming neighbors did back then. She lost her only child a couple of years ago to lung cancer ( He never smoked ). He lived in DC and Boston in the 70's and early 80's before moving back to Camilla. He was friends with the now Boston Mayor. The guy presenting the shirt told at John's funeral that when John would come to Boston and visit with him and his family, he would always go and visit the Mayor. John did not make an appointment, just walked in, asked the secretary was he in and barged right through the door. Said secretary did not know what to do but the Mayor would just say he is a good friend from S. Ga. and thats the way they do it down there.

Good morning all,
Another crazy work week. I did hit the woods Saturday treed a den and seen one. So not a bad night.

I know many people might not agree but I did put the under ground fence in so they can run around only when I am home and can get to them. It has worked great and they love running around with the coon hide. I turn them out about every evening and last night I turned them out and went inside for something and when I came out Buster was chasing Juice around. Still not alot of sign of heat but if things go as they should in 63 days there will be some blue pups on the ground.
My wife has already laid claim to the pup and says she is going to show it and I will hunt it. I am thinking I might be the one that gets the dog house not the pup.

Taking off this weekend and going to Wilmington,NC to see my nephew so I hope everyone enjoys there weekends.
