rory

spot has been sick for a couple days. he acts lethargic, he felt like he was running a fever yesterday. i started him on some penicillin yesterday, gave him some Tylenol. he is still eating good, his stool looks good, and he is still urinating. he is drooling bad and coughs occasionally. i've given him ivomec every 1-2 months his whole life, just had a dose last week. he still gets out of his house a little but not much, any advise?

he still acting about the same, vet out of office today can't see him until the morning. i think he just feels bad, i don't think he's that weak. just got him out of the pen, he still able to jump in the dogbox. i noticed he vomited up greenish looking liquid today.

took him to the vet this morning, they done some blood work. the vet thinks he has a trachea/ lung infection. he said it could be his heart but leaning more toward the infection. gave him a shot and put him on some pills. told me if he is not better by fri. bring him back.

Nate,

If he doesn't start lookin' better in the next couple of days,for God's sake,take him back and get him tested.My vet told me that RED had a respiratory infection too.He ended up havin' Lyme Disease instead.Worst mis-diagnosis I've ever experienced.Needless to say,I don't use that vet anymore.If you have any questions,call me at 757-339-3454.Good luck.

Just wanted to thank you so much for your thoughts & prayers on behalf of my father.He's doin' much better now & should be comin' home tomorrow or Friday.I've made quite a few friends over the years,but nothin' compares to the coonhunters(and some that I've never even met) that are always there for you when you need them the most.And I love you all like brothers.And that goes without blinkin' an eye.Thanks SO much once again.
