man i just heard the good news and ,yes it would be an honor for me and brad to handle lightin and the rock in the grand american next year. Im pretty excited and i know brad is too. dont matter much to me witch one i handle cause i know both are capable of winning!!! to bad we got to wait a whole year but maybe we can hit some other hunts aswell, you know the one im talking about. i,ll give you a call . thanks todd

Weather

Ed looks like im gonna get a chance to get in the timber towards the end of the week. Highs are suppose to be 48 that would be a big change from 0.

Better get you in shape early But then again you & Brad are in pretty good shape cutting timber allday.

Thank you two for all your help good things will come around in due time.

Brad hope you get RED JED out this weekend that warmer air sounds good.

Well big E the dogs are doing fine Like to be hunting a little more, but weather permitting I will be hunting alot more soon! Sure looks like them Red dogs of yours are turning the crank......they look good buddy! I am gonna come down for a hunt I promise whats the weather doing there? Glad to see Todd got Ellie-Fay. He will put the hunt to that dog if i know him. And that dog should hunt for Todd if she is like the rest of Lightin"s pups. After watching Lightin go hunting you can see where the pups get it from. Todd i hope your headed to the top with your new pup.

Todd this isnt a very good picture sorry I didnt get it posted till today.

Her litter mates are doing GREAT Russ tells me.

Good Luck with her Todd she will be Bred to THE ROCK after she earns her title.

She going to be in the timber Todd hunts 5 nights a week or more.

Todd your dad needs to try one of these Light'in pups on Cats buddy there some nice ones out of him treeing thing bigger than coons out west,I had alot of call folks wanting pups off THE ROCK because the way he is built them long legs work great in the snow & can also DRIVE A TRACK !

i,m excited to be getting fay and looking forward to start working with her. dad is die hard plott guy but i will tell him. hope i can do her justice out here one thing for sure they gotta go hunting out here to find a coon like lightnin did when he was out here. i think thats a trait he puts in his pups or i wouldent even be getting one. thanks again todd

Hey Eddie,

we hunted Penny ( daughter of Bunny, Dual Grand ) and ( Billy Bob, Dual Ch. ) last night. She is also dual Grand Daughter of Old Twister. She struck and ran track and blasted the tree. No hesitation on fighting a coon. She is not very big but has a ton of go power and grit. She will make some kind of a coon hound. Could this be the female that we will be breeding back to the Old Twister semen? Wow, the pups would carry 67% of Old Twisters Blood. Crazy man.
