I'm curious how Aubrey loads the mule in that truck over the dog box on the back. I've hunted on mules alot but don't think I ever had one that could jump in the truck like that. Had to ask, maybe I'm missing something. Aubrey the young dogs sound real good on your vids.

Red Ryders Red Hot Tatertot

Growing like a weed she is. Had a 2 mile round trip walk in some thick fog last night. JJ got on a runner. Ended up on a big red oak. Couldn't see thru the fog. Pulled the plug.Tot just trucks along like she's been doing it her whole life. She has Tater's gait. Nice smooth proud look at me gait.

Thats pretty slick loading that mule. I know several dogs that don't load that well.

A big CONGRATS to Tim Chase. His NITECH GRCH Crazy Mtn Big Hunk Joe (Rip x Rose) finished to Field Champion, and he also finished to GRNITECH!!! Also, his FCH CH Crazy Mtn Deva (Ox x Rose) picked up another 1st place win, and finished to NITECH! Great job Tim & crew!

My romantic hubby took me on another date. It went well, I only had to get off my mule on one hill, on a bad note.....Aub lost his skinning knife somewhere on that hill, and Jackson had to pack out all the coon whole......poor guy!

Here's that bad hill, pic doesn't really do it justice, but it was pretty much straight down...you can see the river at the bottom

I panicked, said I didn't think my mule could do it, and crawled down on my own. My *knight in shinning armor* demonstrated how safe it was by sliding my mule down for me!

Hey Aubrey and Ann, I've been getting an abnormal amount of calls, people looking for pups. I don't have any (obviously cuz I only have one hound and he's a walker lol) so I've been sending them all your way. Hopefully you can make some more good connections and help these people find the hound their looking for. I tell them I don't know what you have but that your my recomendation.

Missy (Ox & Trouble) is really starting to turn it on in the woods, she has a bawl / chop on track, has a locate and trees with a hard chop. At 18 months old she is doing a great job. I will be testing her in a HTX in two weeks. Thanks Aubrey and Ann for this great dog,

That looks like a great way to get a buck out of the woods. I thought about using my mule but Brandon was here so he helped. And that was a nice buck Jacob got congrats. I went coonhunting last night and had a brush pile, hollow tree and two trees with coon and a rock quarry that was very hairy getting the dogs off of there but all went well.

It is currently 9 degrees in Readstown, WI......tomorrow is a high of 3 degrees, and there is a couple inches of snow on the ground. The dogs are bedded up good and waiting for the January thaw & rut!

In a bit of news, Tim Chase emailed and said he put a 1st place win on his 8 month old Ox x Ava pup, PR Crazy Mountain Midnite Lacey. He also put a BOS win on her, and a Show Champion win on NITECH FCH CH Crazy Mtn. Deva. Congrats Tim!!

Hope everyone has been having a great season, and is staying warm!!!
