Roy here is a picture of Paul with Ralph after he won Nitech Friday night. He was close to being King of the hunt but ended up getting edged out of it. They make a good team. Wont be long till he has him Granded.

Paul is having a grand Ole time hunting Ralph.
I leased Robin to Mark and Corey Robbins and told them to hunt her and just have fun with her.
I didn't want to raise any pups right now and we haven't hunted Robin in over a year. So it worked out to send her to these guys and she won't just sit in the pen. Robin deserves to be hunted.
Mark and Corey have hunted with her and they are looking for females of her calibur to breed to. So it worked out for both of us. She is a hard tree dog and will get split and hold pressure. She is a blast to hunt.
I've got three young dogs that are started and hunting them and Deal has us busy. It will be a great kill season this year with these pups. A male and female that are just over a year old and a full brother to Dean Woods male dog that just turned 8 months old.

Roy we are getting the rust off of Robin a little at a time. The Ol girl likes to go and get treed. Sorry but she has taken a liking to the Pro Plan 30/20! She is firming up a little and slick as a button. We will keep you up dated the Ol girl!

BBOA Kansas State Hunt

Had a good weekend down at Altoona for the Mad Dogs.

Paul won nt ch fri night with GrCh NtCh Mad Dog Loud Mouth Ralph (smoke x blueberry). This also gave Ralph 5 or 6 cast wins at zone 1 hunts and made him the BBOA Zone 1 Nite Hunt Dog of The Year. Paul will be winning a very nice buckle from Maynard buckles. Paul won this award last year with Perculator.

I hunted Bloxhams Owl Cr Smokin Wendy (smoke x Wendy) fri night and won 1st place open with 650+. This also made her queen of the hunt. We won a nice plaque and a good cap light. She had one by herself split about 5O yds and 1st trees on the next two.

Jim Combs won 1st place open sat night with Combs Big Time Jack (smoke x Pearl). Jack is a nice hound and only needs a cast win to make NtCh I believe.

Jack and Wendy are one cast win away from nt ch and they'll boost ole smoke up on the reproducers list a spot or two. I can't wait to see how far he gets up there next year with several more dogs that will be hitting the hunts. Tim Vaughn wanted to see him on the list and I'm sure he's proud a Mad Dog is back on it.

Roy we got Robin breed today and will one more time. We have both the females boxes done with whelping nest and heaters with temp.contol. Floors are linned with insulated vinyl. Should be set and ready, just keeping figers crossed.

Kill season

Tomorrow night is opening night of kill season for us. Won't be shooting very many out except a few for the pups.
I am healing up good and will go tomorrow night with Tim. Dont think I will hit it very hard to start out with but will work back into it.
