The cross of Curley X Jitter Bug was a influential cross. All of my dogs carry it several times. Another cross that did a lot for the dogs in this area was Ellyson's Tige X Ellyson's Lady. This cross had the same pedigree as the Curley/Jitter Bug cross only turned upside down. Tige was a littermate to Jitter Bug and Lady was a littermate to Curley. From this cross came Bragg's Bill the Barber, Bell and Lady II as well as many other top dogs. These dogs were staples in Kelly Bragg's kennel. Many of my dogs go back to this cross...

Thanks for the compliment.
He doesn't seem to have been really hunted hard but can tree his own coon. I hunt 4 or 5 nights a week so he will get his chance to perform.

Thanks Mr. Adkins. I sure would like to own another 1 outta Mae Bee if it was as good as the gyp I've got outta her now.
I also had a male out of Pride and an Arkie gyp that I bought as a pup from a fella in Tennessee (I think his name was Jeremy). I bought him with intentions of using him to do some line breeding. But he ended up having a few characteristics that I didn't like and I ended up selling him to a hunting buddy of mine that really liked him.
He's still alive and I think he's about 6 yrs old now. He's a decent hound and a very accurate tree dog. Most folks would be tickled to own him but I guess im just too picky about what I hunt and breed.

I heard that the bulk of the Geronimo X Mae Bee pups turned out nice.I know that there were 2 that were culls.6 out of 8 ain't bad.I have a Geronimo daughter that is out of Mae Bee.s full sister different litter that is a jam up bear dog.She is also the dam of my Trooper 2 dog.Check out my website so you can see what I got.

Yeah I'd say that was a good cross! It doesn't get much better than that. I checked your website out and it looks like you have some good blood and good hounds. I like the Smokey River, Little Arkie crosses too. Good luck with your hounds.
