I agree Eddie, that is awesome. I usually can't hardly stand a young dog, tolerate them when they're a little older, and by the time they are 7 or 8 years old (if they made it that far) they are riding in the cab and sleeping in front of the fireplace. There is nothing better than a good old hound. You are blessed Perry.

Give that GORGEOUS old man with a YOUNG heart a BIG pat from me and from Bob... he is so wonderful and you have been Blessed.... You should know it takes a special person to keep a dog who works so hard and with such hazard alive at all.... but the longevity he has is something special for sure!

It was a fun event all around. I enjoy an afternoon of shooting the breeze, and seeing the field trials, and water races. Both of those events Rocket failed miserably at lol. I guess he doesn't know how to play games like that, but it sure did get him fired up for the hunt. He won overall male in the bench show, and we drew a 2 dog cast. Terry Monroe was the guide, and he put us in coon. It sure was fun. He tied in points in the event for NE Iowa Tuff Dog.

There's 3 more hunts I can attend before the long trip to Richmond on Memorial Day weekend. Fingers are crossed that we can hunt grands out there.
