Thanks again everybody. I'm overwhelmed by all the congratulations and support.

Dave definitely left an impression on me when I visited his cabin back about 1990. He was an encyclopedia when it came to hounds. Didn't matter whose hounds or what line we talked about he had the pedigrees down in what seemed like a photographic memory.

Wished I could have spent a week or two at his place, and hunted with him too. Never enough time in life.

I'm glad to announce that I have been able to buy back Brummy's Blue Iron Tide. Tide is from the BrummyXDaisy cross and for the little he's been hunted is doing a nice job. I'm excited to get him back and put some serious woods time on him.

She's really become my buddy in last few days. Hunted good & treed with other dogs on her first hunt in Iowa, but we never did get a coon to look. Take care, Ron.

Glad you're liking her so far Ron, it was a tough decision for Curt to sell her. He gave her a good start. I hope she finishes into the coon dog I think she will.

Kerry Oswalt with Demi (PounderXSis) and me with Brummy. Demi was bred to Brummy 3 weeks ago.

I need to note that Kerry bred Demi to Northern Indiana Hawk about a month before he won King of Hunt at Bluetick Days 2 years ago, and Brummy was bred to her 2 weeks before he won King of Hunt this year......Looks like Mighty Blue Redemption (Demi) might be the common denominator......

Just a couple different things.....

This past Sunday night I took ol Whip (Brummy x Daisy) and his mamma out to try and tree a couple. The first drop we didnt have much luck whip went hunting good with Daisy and ending up grabbing them on the other side of the woods just about 700 yrds out. The second drop we made went a little smoother. Daisy and Whip blistered on in the woods struck a short track amd jammed treed about 150 yrds. Whip got bug eyed and was shellin the mail! Couldnt find the little shafer though... gotta love pine trees..i was pleased with his performance though.

In other news, Dottie(Rattler x Excite) had some helpful signs that she maybe coming in within a few days! Let's keep our fingers crossed!

I'm glad to hear about Dottie too, this cross is one to get excited about I do believe.
