Headed south for a few days going from snow to lots of water. Tom I will be praying for your grand daughter. Joe I saw a picture of your pups they look good. Everyone stay warm and out of all the snow.

Finally got out did 3 turns tonight & Treed 1 time in a Good Circle tree ! 1st & 3rd turns Nothing well 3rd turn I am thinking they found something to eat / I cut them & at 168yrds Anny makes 1 bark & then she stays in this spot for a good 5 mins & I holler a couple times & she leaves heads up the valley good hits 900yrds & I loose communication on Anny ? / I get out my Marshal beepbeep & got Rat right out where Anny spent a good 5 mins so I holler & no Rat So I will leave him drive to top of hill / I leave & not to far down road I see Rats light in mirror / I stop & get him loaded / drive to next road over & catch Anny crossing / Anny woofed Rat on that 1 bark she is not much on sharing her food matter of fact your a dog you don't even look at Anny while shes eating / Rat got woofed had to wait at a distance tell mom gets done & then he gets his share / probably a deer carcass good protein ! Wolf instinct coming out in them lol I will say Anny needs to step it up a notch if she is going to beat Rat / 1st Tree for Rat tonight & he got her Good on a den !

ryan napier Nice hounds will he run track could be your next stud cross him on a RedBone & some pups may come out more B&T in color reg them a B&T & keep one for a stud / & of course one is bound to come out looking like a Red Bone keep a male this could be the next top reproducing RedBone male in all registries lol Great pict's

Jculler8 I saw the pict of your pups fun times ahead all but cleaning up after them in a few weeks ! post us a pict or video of them / I did not guess on how many / I thought Anny was going to have a few & she only had 1 lol

Finally got out again tonight only got about 1 inch of new snow so far ! Crook had me 400yrds up a good hill tonight / Rat got his 1st skunk tonight he left it by himself a good thing / Rat did not get treed but he hunted out & around good tonight by himself / Rat got to listen to Crooks whole run tonight in the box he is good about staying quiet with no shock collar on / My goal of getting 50 coons down is not looking to good our season closes the 20th Feb

i am hunting sunday night rain ,sleet or snow.or hall will keep me from hunting,like the mail man says.jayson and i are going i get to hunt till tuesday night then wensday morning iam leaving to go to the duke cancer center in nc. they have a team of specialises in sort tissue sarcoma cancer.then i will be back home late thuresday night from nc.. then i will start a treatment plan to keep it from comming back AND 4 NOW IT IS GONE I AM CANCER FREE .if i dont half to take kemo i can still hunt every night taking radation the dr. said i could hunt all i wount long as i dont need kemo so i just got to wait and see now .but i am over my surgery and fell great i am like a littel kid now waitting on sunday night to come so i can here a good coon raise and drop one on there heads.keepem in the woods.david boggs..ps i got two men to stay here in my kinnel 4 me while i am gone and jayson womean is staying in my home to take care of the inside dogs 4 me

Tom I went out last night first time in awhile. made three trees 1 slick 2 circle coon tracks every where. The ole' dog looked good after the first drop

i went tonight by my sealf treed 2 coon and shot out one old bore coon to gambler.he is the dog i am sending to ohio boy he look good tonight to not been hunted in a while .first turn out with him i pushed the button then he just went on and treed the coon i jumped the gun on him so i feed it to him.the second coon he smoked his dads butt on it but i left it sit,,,david

How bout it any you local guys hunting tonight dont let a little snow stop you lol snow should melt kinda fast

I hear ya Tom! I've been out twice since Feb. 4! Out of both of those times I got 1 track and a den! We have a bit more snow than you guys got up there and we're gettin another 6-10 today! I can't wait until some of it melts because I'll be out 6-7 nights a week! Good luck to you guys next time ya'll get out there!

We just got another 8" last night and looks like we will miss our Buddy hunt tomorrow night and i'm not sure what are conditions will be like for our first Nite Hunt of the season, March 6th.

No, I'm in the eastern part of PA. I belong to Chester/Berks Coonhunters in Morgantown, Pa About 10 mins of the Pa Turnpike, Morgantown exit. I also belong to a Hunting camp in Clearfield Co. right outside a little town called Coalport off RT 53. I wish i lived out that way. I'll probably be looking for some land in a year or 2 out that way for a nice little retirement cabin in the woods. I know with the taxes and just general building and developing i'm running out of room just to look at the wildlife let alone hunt it around here...LOL

i went to nc. to the docter and va and west virgina had a big snow so we went to the beach to show josh thats beckys boy the ocean it was his first time there then we took them all and showed them where we bear hunted at in decenber in nc also while we was there,i got good news from the dr there they say i can coon hunt every night now becauls i dont need kemo just radition and can still hunt all i wount but i am still sending gambler to ohio to be hunted for a while so i can hunt his litter mate more.boy it fells good to be back home we left wensday morning and got back home sunday night at 10 i even think my dogs mised my old butt especiley my dobie.take care and rember aney time you wount to hunt here with me just pack up and come on aney time unless turkey season is in unless you wount to kill turkey i am going to do a lot of turkey calling this season to help out a few and some new hunters to turkey and that gets my blood to pumbing and a tv show.take care and i hope i can get my work around the kinnel took care of tomarow becauls tuesday night i am back in the woods again.happing hunting to all.david

Glad to hear everything is working out for you David. I went down to NC a couple of years ago when Rodney Ridenour (sp) was offering coonhunting on mules and we hunted in around the Yadkin river for a whole night. It was pretty cool. We even found a dead rattler on one of the park roads riding in to to one of the spots. and treed a couple of coon that night as well...Curt

Sure sounds like you had a great trip ! Do you have snow on the ground ? When is your turkey season ? Good idea sending that young dog out give you more time with other / may be able to come your way in April / if your turkey season is in maybe you could call one in for me / I have never tried or had someone call one in / I have shot a few & all with my 22 / get a pict of your hounds & put on hear / Good hunting Tues night

Hi Joe snow is melting good / should be decent hunting here by end of week / some decent temps comming at end of week
