How old is Floyd? About how many pups and how they seem to be starting and are there a number of finished hounds from him.. Also where is he living at this time?? I have some contacts in the South that l know would come see him go with or for me if l cant make it down there. Thank you!

Floyd

Floyd is going on 9 and will be in the south until the Spring and then he will be back up in Wisconsin. Floyd was bought to sire some pups and not to be hunted so he will not be shown. I would suggest finding someone that has a pup out of him and hunting with them.

Pink Floyd will be a performance sire for 2019. There are some really nice crosses planned for him in the next couple of months. Floyd will be back up in Wisconsin after Bluetick Days.

FLOYD X JEWEL

I'm pretty sure my Jewel gyp is going to have pups. She has been bred about 3 weeks and she is starting to belly up. There should be several pups available if she raises a decent litter. Jewel is out of GrNtCh PR Tuckers' Blue Boomer and her mother is out of GrNtCh PR Jet 6's Indiana Blue Rocket. Her mother is doubled up on Jet 6. Jewel looks almost identical to Boomer. I have hunted Jewel some and she is a hard going, hard tree dog. I got her to cross on Floyd and I am excited to see what the cross produces.

Floyd will be 9 this year and Darren is getting some nice crosses made down in Alabama. Floyd will be down there until later in the Spring and after that will be back up in Wisconsin. If you have a nice bred coon hound consider using Floyd. I think you will like the results.

I bred Cotton yesterday and that is the 3rd time. I feel very good about this cross. Junior Willis from Kentucky called and said his Sparetime Spanky female is bred as well. From what I hear, this female can move a cold track like some dogs move a hot one and she is a layup specialist. Should be some really nice ones out of that cross as well. Call Junior if you are interested in a Floyd pup in the Kentucky area. I will try to get her pedigree posted if I can get some info from Junior. Thanks Darren

Floyd will be down in Alabama for a few more weeks and then will be headed back to Scott's in Wisconsin. I talked to Cole Moore in Arkansas this week and he is hoping his gyps come in season before Floyd goes back. Both of his females are proven reproducers. There have been some very nice crosses made on Floyd here in Alabama and I look forward to hearing about some of these pups in the near future.

I have been asked if I am bringing any of the Floyd pups to Wisconsin. If you have your pup paid for to who ever has the litter We could probably work something out when Darren and I meet if the pup is paid for and Darren agrees to haul it to wherever we meet

I moved my Tuckers Blue Boomer gyp to the whelping house last night. She is bellied up and bagged up so it wont be long. She is due at the end of next week. I've had a few more interested in breeding if Floyd is still down south when the gyps come in heat so we will see.
