Received a nice card from brother Owen.
Happy b-day cliff
Thanks Jeff!
Not hunting but fun!
Finley trying to show a hound at Marion County club. Had a great time. Finley keeps telling me to be careful with his trophy as “the tail breaks off them easily.” I must have told him that... Thanks to George Shurvington for letting Finley use his nice gyp. Much calmer than my hounds!
A good time had by all.
Hunting
I have been hunting a little bit and having a great time. Boys get heavy to pack.
Had a great time at the Missouri Coonhunters Invitational hunt down at Cole Camp last weekend. Got in the Top 16 on Friday night but could not make it back down there for Saturday. Will make other arrangements next year!
Congrats to Jeff and Charlie Wyatt! Dustin Witherall and Bodge were great to hunt with!
The Federation is a great hunt with alot of great prizes. Everyone leaves with a hat, and they try to give out alot of other prizes too! They work hard and I would encourage other people (and clubs) to consider joining.
I wish you could have made it back cliff. We had a big time, good dogs and good handlers

I had a little fridge in my shop and it went out so I decided to try make some sort of nest box out of it. It was originally white so I spray painted it so it wouldn’t be stand out.
Wired it up in a hedge tree. Only had my tractor wheel to stand on. Will secure better when I have a ladder. Put straw in it and it faces east. We will see.

Took youngest boy Faron to club hunt last night. Didn’t take a dog just tagged along.
Great turnout for a club hunt. One four dog cast and three 3 dog casts.
Pete Berry went along with us. All had a good time.
Anyone in Mid Missouri who doesn’t like to argue all the time is sure invited to the Musselfork CHA club hunts.
I hope everyone had a good coon season. I hunted very little, but when I went we did tree coons. I haven’t had much interest and even missed local club events.
I have fewer dogs than I have ever had, and have focused mainly on fishing lately, as that is easier to do with my children.
Might make a swim race or two down at Cole Camp this year and some local events.
I have made a lot of friends hunting through the years and hope everyone is doing well.
Good to hear from you cliff
