HUNTED OLD STORMY THE OTHER NIGHT , I LOVE THE WAY SHE JUST LAYS AROUND NOT GETTING HUNTED AND YOU TAKE HER HUNTING AND SHE IS THE SAME DOG YOU HUNTED LAST TIME , SHE DON;T SEEM TO GET RUSTY

BOOM POWER......BAM!

Bam treed in Illinois last week on two different Coons. Tough feeder tracks in dry conditions that he worked out alone and came treed with the meat in both trees. Click on pictures to see Videos.

Loving my boomer misty cross pup. He is really cranking with another dog. Runs track great and trees great. He is a little unsure of going hunting right off the bat by himself but with a little talking to he starts to hunt out really good.

Hunted last night with the pup and the old dog and my buddies dog. Didn't tree anything but it wasn't for lack of dogs trying. Young blaze hunted out farther than the other 2 dogs. But... he did have to get a lesson on why you cone back when you are called.

Took blaze out again last night with a buddy. He and my buddies young bluetick caught a little coon on the ground in a swamp. Only about 4 lbs. Cut them loose again and they didn't really hunt but my buddies you'd dog treed one solo and blaze kept hunting. Then cut blaze loose by himself and he hunted out around 409 yards and came up with nothing. Very impressed with this pup

Thin coon

Yes Terry my area doesn't have the best coon population. Some places you go aren't to bad but then other places we go we don't even get a bark. I didn't shoot any coon last year and this year I have only shot 4 so far because the Blaze was treeing really good on them so he deserved it. I'm hoping I can pick up some new spots that I can try out.

Terry, Glad to hear Ole Stormy still doing her thing and that yaw getting her out some. We had a good trip to Mr. Ed Mauney's this past week and treed a wagon load of Big Coon. Dogs looked good and Coon were moving good. Last Drop on the Last Night of hunting Bobbie and Bam got treed 500 yards deep and were treed 25 yards apart and Both had a Coon. Bam was Hooked Solid and wasn't thinking about coming off his tree. Two trips up there in past month and Bam has treed 17 times and only once treed with the other hounds. He is Mr. Independent for sure. Take Care.

Well last night didn't go as planned. Blaze met his first porcupine and he wasn't very happy about it... neither was I. Was hoping to get him on a few more coon before deer season but now due to work no more hunting for me until after deer season. Was hoping he would be ready for competitian next spring but not sure if he will be or not. Oh well. Keep on pushing him
