I am sure Kurt would cut him for you if you call him. I think you could better find out what you're lookin for by calling the guys you know, that you see at the hunts and get their feedback.you are getting a tex PUP not tex. His best days are gone.Many on here have hunted with Tex and his offspring, They could help you more than cutting an old, unfit, dying mouthed hound. But you are more than welcome to take him to the woods, he would love it. Bruce Hobbs, Dean Miller Kenneth Tavares, Mac Mclenahan, Steven Gamble, Jamie Swan ,James Blackburn, Ray Conrad, Derek Rice, Randal Brown , Billy Anderson and others would be able to tell you what they Know of Tex and his pups .Cheers

Not sure about any of Tex's numbers but I have hunted with several of his pups and talked with others who have them. Tex is putting that little extra in his pups that we are all looking for. Alot of hunt. Independent but not jealous. Good mouth. Quick tree with decent accuracy. They are trashy but can be broke. They seem to perfer coon over junk meaning they will run a critter but given the chance to drop off on a coon they will. The one that I hunted with thr most finished to Gr Nt in 8 hunts and treed by herself at least twice on those cast. One night she had 450plus and no other dog barked. WHY ..... we dropped in a big empty bottom after about 20 min she struck a critter and ran it for about a mile and fell off on a coon. Got to her scored tree and cut hershe struck a old cold track and worked it up and had him. Hunt is over. She was a little over a year. Hope this helps. If I ever get the chance I hope to try and show every one that Tex's pups like most Bad to the Bones dogs can and do win at a National level, but until then I will just talk about the old days and how good ole so so was like the rest of the internet hunters.

I got a pup off of Tex I'm liking alot. If he keeps it up we will be hitting some hunts next year.

does anybody have any pups out of tex near southern ky (im on the tn line) I was gona breed my female to him but she didn't come in heat.i would like a male let me know if anybody has any I would prefer a male but I wouldn't mind a female also I have a 2 year old sundown ryder male I would trade for one he is started goin with other dogs an treein some I just don't like him he dosent soot me thanks pm me on here or call or text 606 688 2248 thanks agian

Cody call Larry Allen.I spoke with him this morning. His no. Is under an ad posted by Randal Brown on the BnT Dogs for sale.We have a litter mate we like a lot. I have hunted with/against Sadie.She is a TOP notch comp. Dog and bred right also......Tex pups are not easy to find...ya better hurry

I work international, recently south America, So I apologize for not getting back to all who have questions. TEX is in MISSOURI with Curt Ahring.

TEX has been collected but is currently LIVE covering.
The TEX pups seem to be all we hoped they would be.

The Stud Fee on TEX is 200.00 and we would like option to buy a pup.

I recently tried to buy several different TEX pups, with no luck.My friend Dean Miller told me he pd top $ for a TEX pup from Bruce Hobbs Female that could be as nice as he has had.Thanks Jamie and Red for sellin me a Tex/Zena pup.
