That's good to hear Jerry. Jade is really startin to swell up definitely gonna have pups!! I will try to get hers and Tangos peds on here soon been real busy with work so not had much time for extra curricular activities!

Max we took Riptide and Rugar tonight. Turned them loose and they split up, Riptide went behind us ad Rugar in front of us and Rugar struck about 240 yards ran down a creek and after a bit we heard Riptide put in with him. They hit up on 3 OR 4 trees and finally little Rugar rolled it over and let me tell you , they treed real hard. Had a sow and kittens in a little old tree. At least we understood why they hit up so many times prior to getting it done. Oh well they at least had it and we now know were there are some more kittens now.

Max going to really turn up the heat tonight on Rugar. Taking Jango, Riptide and Rugar and see if we can't cover some ground tonight! See how he acts with two others on a few coons. Off work for four days so we will be a little braver!

Max / Jerry we just got in and it is 12:15. We dump Rugar, Riptide and Jango four times and made four trees. One tree we could not get to due to the river and it was a little too deep, I'm not much on swimming with hunting gear on and neither is Corey! It sure is nice to handle your hounds in a case like this without having to walk two extra miles to get them. The tree across the river was close enough for Corey to get some sound plus the high winds we had. Let me tell you Rugar the last two nights has really turned it up a notch on his treeing, hunt has been great with the exception of one dump the other night and he was a little slow of getting gone, Riptide was too but I feel it was yotes or deer we dumped them out on. Max Rugar still has not ran one bad track and has not even treed a grinner! Corey is going to post the sound tack tonight and I know you will be able to pick Rugars sharp chop out on the tree even with the high winds. Rugar did get one first strike and tree on the other two and they did not like it either! Not bad for 9 months old!

Pups at Jerry's are now in training = 10 Weeks old and is just about the right age huh! LOL!

Max we hunted Rugar tonight by himself and he did himself proud! We hit a few good patches along some big deep creeks and in doing so we dump loose 5 times and treed 5 times. We seen two coons, ran two other tracks real good and treed on a couple big trees we could not shine very well, may have had them and may not of! The last dump Rugar got in there about 240 yard and struck red hot and slammed it in the ground, yes he stayed but did not dig, go figure! Not bad for a pup that won't be 10 months old until June the 5th! Corey is going to post a few pictures I think on tonight's hunt!

My dad has 2 females and a male pup left out of Tango x Penny 2nd cross they are 9 or 10 weeks old performance nominated. Nice pups the first litter has quite a few pups that are now 9 months old and are running and treeing their own coon. $150.00 these are the last few to sell. Don't miss out !!

Some really good blood here in my opinion. Seems to be a good combination on Uncle Pen Daughters bred to Jet 6 Grandsons. It may be a coincedence but I know of three crosses were this has been done with excellent results. Max can you send me a picture of the females left? My number is 920-378-6667.

Sure has been a good cross on the first litter they are now 9 months and I know of 5 that I can think of off the first cross that will run and tree their own coon and do it right!! I will try to get you some pics tomorrow eve Scott. I thought I was crazy driving all the way up there to you to buy those pups but Penny made a real nice dog and she has helped out our breeding!! Thanks alot !!

BBOA STATE HUNT

Well it was an interesting night Max / Jerry. We casted out with One walker from Georgia , one black dog and one blue bitch. Black dog scratched before we left due to being sick. The first dump the walker treed and after about 7 minutes Riptide rolled up about 30 yards from the walker and he treed. Did not find the coon on the walker dog but did find Riptides. Next dump Riptide and the walker treed at the same times and there was two coons in that tree so we had to split the tree there. Next dump they struck red hot and after about 200 yards the Walker treed but Riptide and the other Blue bitch ran about another 200 yards and treed in the ground, did not find a coon on the tree the walker treed on. Next dump they hit and the walker treed again and the other dogs did not tree in and there was no coon seen again. Last dump ended the hunt without a strike.

Corey 325 plus, no minus and 200 circle
Walker Bitch 175 plus, no minus and 650 circle
Blue Bitch 175 minus, and 275 circle
Black Bitch did not hunt, sick

Riptide was the only Bluetick with plus points and a cast win but did not have enough points as the last night champion cast that came in had more points. We will give it another try tomorrow night I guess if it does not rain!

Good job guys! Take him back tonight!! Got word from Brett the litter mate Tebow dog got put in his first hunt last weekend in Wisconsin and won his cast don't know all the details but he had 800 some + no minus

Max / Jerry - Corey had a couple good nights at the Zone #4 BBOA Indiana State Championship this weekend. ( Cast winner Friday with 325 plus).Tonight Corey hunted Riptide again and he scored 700 plus tonight, no minus and no circle. Riptide had two coons off to himself, two first trees with the other dogs and one second tree with one dog. For the weekend he won KING OF SHOW, CHAMPION MALE, KING OF HUNT, OVERALL CHAMPION OF BENCH SHOW, OVERALL CHAMPION OF NITE HUNT. Rugar is next Max!
