State Coon Hunters of Missouri don't forget the Dick Grey Summer Classic this weekend at Higbee, Mo. and the UKC Hunt at Patton Friday and Saturday.

Next Saturday is the SCHM UKC State Youth Hunt at Cole Camp Mo. We are expecting a good turnout and Kandie Jonson has gathered some tremendous prizes ... ALL FREE!

3 Days

Looking forward to seeing a bunch of kids and their hounds having a fun time this weekend at the MO State Youth Championship in Cole Camp. We have plenty of shade and an air conditioned building to help with this heat.

Judges!

Don't forget the YOUTH HUNT Saturday June 30th at Cole Camp Mo.

Last I heard from the Hunt Chairperson Kandie Jonson, she expressed some concerns about having enough judges for the hunt.

She has done a great job getting prizes for the kids and I hope many of you will come out to judge the young ones.
I assure you, you will have a lot of fun on your cast.
All youth casts hunt 90 minutes and entry deadline is 9pm. Please come out to help!

Twigger-----Thank You

Thank you so much. I hope everyone had a good time. I got to hear from a couple of the hunt guides and judges and one of the grandpas of a little boy in the bench show and these stories made it all worth while...........One of the little boys who won a trophy in the bench show and went out to hunt, went on to church the next morning, took his trophy and told his preacher all about everything that he did at the event. One of the casts got to see some twin fawns and were excited about that. Another of the little boys was so excited about getting to hunt that he headed for the woods and forgot that he didn't get his dog out of the box. What a crowd we had and with 100 degree temperatures!!!!! This was a 1st time fun event for our club and how wonderful of the State Coonhunters to have the event and our club couldn't have done it without all the wonderful, dedicated folks and clubs that helped with donations and prizes, entries, judging, guiding casts, food preparation and all the parents and/or friends of the kids that brought them to Cole Camp or supplied a dog for them to participate in all the events.

Congrats to the winners. I got to hunt with the Spunky Monkey a couple years ago. I liked her mouth as good as any I've ever heard.

SHRINERS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL BENEFIT HUNT & SHOW
Sept. 28 & 29, 2012 - St. Clair Saddle Club - St. Clair Mo.

I realize it is two months off but It is never too early to start thinking about making a donation of an item that can be auctioned off at the event.

The SCHM raises money each year from donations and 100% of the proceeds from this hunt is donated to SHRINERS.

If you have something please contact the Hunt Chairman for this event (Tom Wiggers 573 627-2242) or SCHM President (Gerge Nash 573 546-2832).

Thank you and try to keep cool!
