Hi Tom, I hope that your talk with the surgeon tomorrow produces some results. I really know how an injury like that can affect a person. Spending three months in a wheel chair sure changed my perspective on things. If that had not happened Kid would still be just a registered dog behind my barn and I would not have got to meet up with you and Matt. So some good things have come out of it. I still miss Kid though. But he is where he should be where he can get more exposure. And sire some winners which I am sure he will. Take care. Billy

hey Bill, i hope you and i believe it was Ted that i met last year come back to the get together at Tom's this year for AO to do some pleasure hunting.

Tom, great to hear from you yesterday. i will continue to be praying for you and hope you recover quick. look forward to coming back up and doing some more hunting this year.

Talked to Duane Kehres and it sounds like Baby Six is settling in just fine on her lay-over up north.She has got the tools to make something extra special with a little hunting and handling,and I'm sure she'll get both up there.Thanks again Duane for helping me out.

I did manage to hunt the last two nights in a row with Image.Only good for a few drops but was glad to get over and hunt with Randall Drew for a few nights.Randall is the man that owned the Pocket female that I won the fall super stakes with a couple years ago and a die hard Walker man at heart.Image looked pretty good and we treed several coon.It sure was nice to get out and just visit,even if I did have to hunt with a bunch of walkers.LOL.Thanks for carrying me along Randall,I had a good time.

For you fellow bluetickers all i can say is WOW... Tom you sure do have something special!!! I want to thank you again for trusting me with this little COON TREEING HUZZY!! I have hunted her 5 out of the last 6 nights in those 5 nights BABY SIX has made 22 trees 17 open coons 2 legit dens and 3 trees ( with the wrong kind of meat hanging over her head.... I think i got that taken care of.. LOL. Bottom line.. She is not perfect but she has a bright future and is alot of fun to hunt!!

Me and Image must both be going crazy around here with the bummed up leg and the heat.Haven't hunted since last Saturday but just walked in from getting Image off of the big oak that the feed mill across the road has there swing hanging from down on the corner.I was sittin on the computer and I heard him going off the deep end and thought something was wrong so I went outside to check on him.He broke out of his kennel,jumped the fence in the back yard and was wooded down the street across from the stop sign.I had to get my light out and look.......He had a triple.LOL.We're gonna have to get out for a few drops before Thursday,We're both going about half crazy!!

April wasn't impressed at 12:30 in the morning,but it's been a while for me and I thought he sounded good.LOL.

It was good to see ya buddy.Kerstin is really growing up quick.I think she grows 6 inches everytime I see her.She loves her Pap and also coonhunting.I really got a kick out of her last night.She was really concentrating on a way to scare you when you got back from getting Kid by yourself.She was cracking me up.LOL.Had a good time and we'll do it again as quick as I can get this knee healed up.Thanks again for the hunt.It was a great evening.

Culls and faulty dogs

Them kind of dogs will mess a mans knees and mind up Tom. Haven t you read and learned? LOL Got Sally out for a drop last nite not much moving after a rain we needed so bad It was hot and steamy. She struck about a half in and moved it out to get treed about a nother mile in. She had him asleep in a big red oak along a ditch. Must have seen four or five big cotton mouths laying along that ditch where she had trailed that ole coon. Since being laid up with them pups I figured she would have stuck around close but I guess I forgot to tell her to. Any way Tom have a good one and hope the knee gets well.
