thats a nice one I cant wait for 4 more weeks for these pups to be off the old walker dog ill still hunt these younger dogs but they are killing me right now thats for sure

nice looking hound! love that block tan head and nice looking coon too. idk about yall but ive never killed one bigger than 16#s and they were both in one night on a split tree one boar one sow. hows your hound bred? keep your little bro in the woods and out of trouble cant wait till my sister gets old enough to hit the woods.

Thanks she is off of Wipeout Speck & a rat/lipper female & yeah he loved it he is wanting him a dog now.I have never killed one bigger than this one but my partner michael lives in hancock co TN & he treed one that was a lot bigger than this one il ask him again how much it weighed i cant remember he currently has it at the taxidermist.

has anyone been hunting? I havent been in a while it feels like I was at my uncles yesterday listening to how many they have knocked out one uncle said 25 my other uncle had coon hides to show for about 10 he said their is more hides in the freezer but i didnt look in there but he says they have got around 30

We went wednesday night first drop made a den second drop treed a coonand third drop made another big den il try and get the pics posted soon.

went sat made one drop on the right hand side of the road and came out with nothing so we decided to go to the left side my 1 year old walker pup struck while still on the lead the black and tan checked out on us but the pup treed a hundred yards in on a hole in the creek bank

we actually didnt get much it was over as soon as it started here......

and ill have one 6 week old pup a 1 year old and a 2 year old but my one year old is the one showing the 2 year old up and this pup is out of the 2 year old but who knows i have drug a coon hide around letting the new one follow and he sticks with it well all though i know he is just playing but it is a good sign i just cant wait to get the momma dog back in the woods she was startin to get the rust off and the 2 year old has just blown up on me since last summer he goes out and hunts but i dont think he has it all down yet unless its a hot track and the 1 year old is about the same as him on that concept but with one coon knocked out to her she has came alive so i hope to turn this year around

Guys my cousin may have some pups on the ground soon if anyone is looking for a red tick pup as thats what i believe they are ill get info from him the next time i speak to him they are out of two real nice hounds if its the ones im thinking of they always have the meat every night they go only thing is the females papers are lost so he is trying to get them again

He mentiones prices but he was still in the air so when i find out ill pass it on if its the ones im thinking it is.

For the last 3 weekends nothing but Den trees and the they seem to be running like the rut is already here anyone treein and seeing coon on the outside???

Got a Triple tonight only taking 2 of them with the dog i have bad mouth for weeks he really shut me up tonight ill get pics up 2mm these are the biggest coons i have shot since i started coon hunting

Iv also had my share of den trees this year including tonight 2 dens with 2 nice sized coons down I sarted to leave 2 in the tree and knock one out but i took 2 of em

if you got a triple why would you knock more than one out to your dog?your not benefiting your dog any more.your just hurting yourself.tn doesnt have the population to support this very long.

dogs ran over a mile the other night before treeing ,,when we got close to em big sign said no tresspassing etc.. my luck lol...ya i think rut is not far off if not now
