CH. Okiesawyers' Bubba Grit
Got up around 4:00 a.m. this morning to get out with the dogs. Bubba got 1st. strike openning heading to the creek, Queenie joined in and they ran it about 1/2 mile but lost it in the timber.. Bubba for the 1st time talked good on the track he had a nice squall/bawl mouth He can sure move a track nice. poor over weight Queenie had a hard time keeping up with him, she's just a little out of shape.... LOL.. We need RAIN BAD.. The trailing is worse I have ever seen it. It has been over a 100 degrees for more than 20 days and the 7-day forcast shows 100 degrees every day.. It sucks !!!

Gotta be the Rooster. Just let him know what you dont like, in a firm but polite manner. He is smart enough to get the point.
Shelby seems like you and Tom have something in common. A Grit dog that is a good track dog and fast on the ground. Imagine that. lol

Shelby he got one out of the Roy daughter. Yours is out of the Nite Thunder female. Sounds like a Grit pups. Going quiet is common. I have found that when they are running a track then go silent, they are either going to locate on the next bark or they will be cleared out. Got the track straightened out and running it hard. Sounds like some nice pups. Glad you like them. Looking forward to pics and or some video. Thanx guys for giving a Grit dog a chance.
Thanx Dave

Dave here are a few Grit pups just getting started.
Not the best pics Dave but its the male and female fred kept. Then I went and got Bubba yesterday and brought him home gonna get him going. Just getting off a train and heading home I think I will cut him in the woods behind the house and let him stretch his legs and see what happens. Man he is a clone of grit about the exact same size and for the same looks. Let's hope he has the same abilities. That white female is faster then sh** and she started treeing the chickens and cats so she is ready. The male is a nice big hound and ready to go to. Freds been loading and taking the last few weeks getting em started so we should know what they have before to long.
Dave you still on here or what. Haven't heard from you in a while. I tried to give you a call the other day. You coming down for autumn oaks.
Pups are looking good. Not on hear as much. I was at the racetrack when you called and I did not have my phone. Hope them pups make us all proud!!! What is the deal with Stitch? Is that boy going to finish him or not? The blue female up here ran track and treed the other night just a bit over 7 months. Man is she a treedog with a huge mouth. Not making it to the Oaks, had a big bill come due that had to be paid and there went my money.

I don't know for sure last I talked to shawn it sounded like he may go get him back because zach has got other stuff on the brain. I am off for three days now so I will try and get some pictures of bubba at night. Man is he put up right with looks to spare. He is very smart too brandons leaves him loose and they play all around the yard and woods and bubba listens like a house dog. Just one with lots of energy.
Just 7 months old. She struck a seperate track from the old dog cicled it around and got treed. She held the pressure from my Spike dog who was running a different track in the woods further.
As you can see she had the meat. We have high hopes for this little girl. 'pr' Tru-Blu Annabelle

Dave had bubba outback in the woods for a training session today. I believe he has flipped the switch. He was a little shy on the coon but today he decided he was tougher than mr ringtail. I turned one out in the woods then went and let bubba loose he opened a good amount on the ground found it and did a nice job on the tree once he found him.
