I have a Bone Collector pup here that is probably the loudest I've ever had.

I hunted some loud ones out of Lady's Man and Trackman and Hammer.

We have some Legend pups on the way, I hope they surpass them all.

The loudest dog that I have ever been in the woods with is PA Sniper. (Black and Tan owned by Randy Tallon). He is Kansas Junior bred (grandson?)

I have had 2 pup that that were by far louder than any i have ever owned. 1st was out of trackman (not to mention was a female) and the other is here now. he is out of Drop Dead Fred

I had two pups here out of Oklahoma super chief at one time and both where loud and good acting pups, their mother was a line bred stylish Jake female. I sold the male pup to Steve Walls in Arkansas when he owned chief.

mike shannons' dog NITECHGRCH''PR''SHANNONS HILLBILLY HANGOVER ( out of Hillbilly Mac ) is by far the loudest dog ive ever came across. on track or tree. Big beautiful walker dog that can do it all. If I was a walker guy i would have a dog out of him for sure....

Yeah worked well for me. When one drowns out the other then ya go to the next. Wasn't anything anywhere near the 10 month old Redbone pup I posted though, flat couldn't hear the others when he cranked off. http://static.photobucket.com/playe...0523_063028.mp4 Even the little pup is beating most of them. lay back into a freeze has a heck of a voice. i mean loud loud loud and very easy to call. and i have a female off that is out of a pup out of hard rock cafe and a female i cant remember her name and she has a heck of a voice on her especially for a 45 to 50 pound female. she sounds like a 80 pound male

I'm not sure that this is the best way to decide who is louder, not all recording devices are made the same. A poor mic will not pick up aswell as others, making one sound louder/better just because he was recorded with better equipment.

I'll have to see what he recorded it with and then everyone else can post what they recorded it with and we'll trust everyone to be honest about it and then that might get us closer to knowing for sure.

What I can tell ya is that this pup was doing it on his own without anyone firing him up to get him excited and as you can see it wasn't recorded with it right on top of him or down his throat.

So I think we'd need a distance from the hound that way we could judge too. Let's say around 8 to 10 ft. not inches from the hound.

It's all in fun. I was telling one of my coonhunting buddies today that I really think there are some Walkers that are louder. I would hope so for all the numbers they have over the Red Dogs but I haven't seen it on here yet.
So come on guys get us some LOUD ones that are doing it where you aren't in there face, so we can really tell what ya got.

Better take a look at the genetic background of your female.She is going to determine at least 50% and probably more.Maybe thats why pups out of the same litter may sound different .one may have a big loud bawl mouth and one may sound like a yard dog. (WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO LINE BREEDING) Breed mouths to get mouths.

Cold sweat puts a big mouth out there. Rocketmans Bounty had the biggest mouth you will ever hear sounds like a frieght train hurt your ears loud. And has pups on the ground that have the same mouth

Layback Into A Freeze owned by Todd Hamilton has a very loud, houndy mouth and he is throwing pups with loud houndy mouths on a consistent basis. it's all relative. what some people call a huge mouth, others call average.

Some of these studs your talking about that throw huge mouths would get covered up by a Bone Collector of Legend pup.

Some of the Fred dogs have huge mouths on them. Not sure if they are throwing it in their pups, haven't hunted with any.
