I had one named "Crooked Creek Pocket Rocket" I called her Midge for short. She weighed about 25lbs in shape and Im pretty sure that was all heart and grit.

If something grabbed ahold of her while she was treed she was like a ninja. She handled her business and you wouldn't hear a sound. Im pretty sure you could have sent Tony the Tiger into her on a tree and she'd put him in his place.

I sold her to a guy around Peru, IN. I don't remember his name but I would like to know what happened to her.

Funny but True

Raised a B&T pup back in the 90s. I named Sunset July Thunder Boomer. He was a natural tree dog right from the start. He made a nice dog with a great mouth. His biggest downfall was possums, never got him broke . He made them sound as good as the real thing whether it was deep in a swamp or half way up a mountain. He eventually turned out to be a equal opportunity offgame dog.

Also judged a Gr Nt English Dog from Wisconsin. His name was Jig A Boo Spook .

One of my buddies ran an appliance business and had a male english that he named Maytag.

when I was a young tike, dad had a pair named Hook and Pook, and g'pa had one he called Mush because he said he sounded like he had a mouth full of it. I've got an english dog now I named Still Scratchin. When I got him as a put he was given to me and had mange so bad he didn't have a hair on him anywhere. With lots of sulfer baths and some time he's a beutiful dog now with fitting name---Scratch.
