Hi There!

Snowy Purty day! Dawgs driving me NUTS! I tossed them out the door again a while ago...and I am NOT getting up again to get them............. lol.... I am SO sick of drying them off to let them get on the bed.... BAD HEATHER!

Thanks so much for all the prayers for Mum. Means tons. She has been BLESSED with such a long life...and me with having her in MY life. Hoping the good quality life is still in her future.

Nice video, Jake is getting big and is looking good. I know Brandon is definately enjoying them both.

Well been a crazy week and have not sat down and enjoyed much. We did hunt some Saturday night treed in a hollow tree and had a turkey in the top of it and it just sat there and watched us shine the tree and catch the dogs. Juice run track on all three trees and got up on the trees. Nothing real hard right now but she is going out there. I am doing what I know to do and thta is putting her in the woods and letting her go.
Was talking to my wife last night if I would really have to wait the entire six weeks to take Buster hunting. She was not happy, I believe she is enjoying having him in the basement when she goes to workout in the mornings. She told me under no circumstances would he be turned out without the consent of the vet. So looks like I might have to leave him in for her and get a new one,lol. I do hate that he will miss the last night of kill season, might just have to extend it in Franklin county for a few weeks.

Heather - still keeping Mum in prayers.

Pttm08 - sometimes our season gets extended also. Seriously how long is your kill season? Ours goes from Nov 10 - Jan 31.

Thanks for all the well wishes on the knee. I put the crutches up today and I am hoping Ole Saw Bones will release me after one more week to return to work.

Don't know what you do for aliving ,but follow the Docs. orders about going back to work. Yeah it is boring being at the house when your not use to it.

It is boring. It drives me nuts having my son do my chores for me. I am lucky I can sit down whenever I need to, I am the Safety Director in a factory.

WOW... we ended up with plenty of snow. 15 inches was the official Wrentham # I saw... not sure here at our part of town since I'm INSIDE! lol... Bob just took off to plow work after I told him the Official amount was 20" there... We'll see? He went to work this am, plowed, went in and got call to send any one else that got in home...LOL... so he drove to pick up the boys at college..LONG SLOW trip and then turned to come home with the boys and crawled home... cars off the road all over...LOL.. FOr Heavens sake this is MA! LEARN TO DRIVE FOLKS! THey made it home fine.
SPeaking of which...I guess Kenny slipped out the driveway and was hit this morning. He's fine but his beloved Jeep took a hit. Not really the other drivers fault or Kennys since He slid and they wouldn't have seen him... Poor Kenny!

Here is the reddawg we are looking to find home for or foster... Rusty 2 yr old grade male.....

I like this picture...he's kind cute even if ears are short! lol

John.. yes quite a bit of snow! Nearly as much as in the blizzard and TOTALLY unexpected! LOL... go figure! AS for MISS SHANNON... I need her adress so I can SEND RUSTY TO HER! lol....

Rustys story if I didn't tell you all...
Some JERK in MA near here left his farm maybe a foreclosure or something..not sure...and... left a litter of redbones running free there... This local lady rescued Rusty with her partner. WHen her partner died... she was left with 3 dawgs and the dawgs loved their beloved man.

Anyway $ is tight for all of us but they had an esp. tuff time... so the dawg needs a home. I hear he is purty loud. He's only been a pet not hunted since the man got cancer just after the dawg who he WOULD have hunted... now the dawg is 2 and probably be tough to get him out hunting. I assume I'll get in touch with rescue if we plan to get him here...to find hiim a pet home. BUT... he'll have to get along with Webster and Daisy if shees still here so we'll see if we can help out.
I can live with the high ear set and short ears... cause he IS kinda cute...lol... He's got great jowls and extra neck skin....

LOL... we stink at fostering..... they all stay forever so it helps if I don't find them BEAUTIFUL first...lol...
OK, gotta get teh chilli dawgs from the snow. It's WAY deep on lil miss Daisy! LOL...

Corky - nice video and pic. That is a very unpleasant smell, that needs to be corrected so it does not become a habit.

BOY .. Every time I go hunting ... I learn just how much work I have to do for my blues !! Roo did not find track with the other blues .. But I was so dang proud of her for being around all the people that hunted with us. !! She'd go out but was scared a little of the people around her .. But let them walk around her .. Yay yay !! She has come a very long way !! I use to not even get a leash on her to go any where ..!! It was sure crowded in the jeep with Lindz , me , Christian and 2 Blueticks !! My jeep is covered inside and out with muddy swamp water !! It's gonna take a full day to clean this mess !! Molly acted funny bc 2 of the blues were tiny and acted weird barking and standing up on back legs b4 turning loose .. She gave that yoddle of a bark .. It was the kind she does when she's not sure of what's she looking at .. Tony said they were too much in breed !! Don't know who the guy was that owned them but after the 2 drop I didn't turn her loose any more.. Didn't want her learning any bad habits !!! Now tony taught me a great way to leash Molly when walking her thru the woods so she wouldn't pull so much !!! Worked great !! Molly hated it but oh well .. I do not want my hound pulling me !! She doesn't do this at home .. I think she didn't like walking last and those other hounds were babbling like crazy .. She was all confused !! But she did well !! Just very very excited to be hunting ... Me and the kids got home about 4 this morning !! Now I'm going out to rake the yard .. It's 70 degrees here !! Simply beautiful !!

Every one have a great rest if the day !! John .. Sending healing your way .. It's ok if your son helps .. He probably likes it .. Down deep .. I love helping my dad when he needs me !!

It was in 50's today. Alot of our snow is gone. Boy had soccer game in morning. They lost 4-3. Good game. Put front brakes on wifes car. Washed her car and my truck. Since it was such a nice day I took along walk.
Now a deserved rest. Decideing on weather to head to woods or not.
