Some how between Justin and the puppy dog eyes Buster is now allowed to stay inside at night while he is getting better. Can't pu him on his run due to all the dirt and mud. He had some lacerations in his mouth so he has to stay in the grass. Next he will be expecting me to carry him across mud puddles.

Last Saturday afternoon, in Washington, D.C., an aide to Nancy Pelosi visited the Bishop of the Catholic cathedral in D.C. He told the Cardinal that Nancy Pelosi would be attending the next day's Mass, and he asked if the Cardinal would kindly point out Pelosi to the congregation and say a few words that would include calling Pelosi a saint.
The Cardinal replied, "No. I don't really like the woman, and there are issues of conflict with the Catholic Church over certain of Pelosi's views."
Pelosi's aide then said, "Look, I'll write a check here and now for a donation of $100,000 to your church if you'll just tell the congregation you see Pelosi as a saint."
The Cardinal thought about it and said, "Well, the church can use the money, so I'll work your request into tomorrow's sermon."
As Pelosi's aide promised, Pelosi appeared for the Sunday worship and seated herself prominently at the forward left side of the center aisle. As promised, at the start of his sermon, the Cardinal pointed out that Nancy Pelosi was present. The Cardinal went on to explain to the congregation, "While her presence is probably an honor to some, the woman is not numbered among my personal favorite personages. Some of her most egregious views are contrary to tenets of the Church, and she tends to flip-flop on many other issues. Nancy Pelosi is a petty, self-absorbed hypocrite, a thumb sucker, and a nit-wit. Nancy Pelosi is also a serial liar, a cheat, and a thief. I must say, Nancy Pelosi is the worst example of a Catholic I have ever personally witnessed. She married for money and is using her wealth to lie to the American people. She also has a reputation for shirking her Representative obligations both in Washington and in California. The woman is simply not to be trusted."

The Cardinal concluded, "But, when compared with President Obama, Representative Pelosi is a saint."=

He looks pretty comfortable all things considered! Hope he heals real well!

Thanks on Mum! She HATES the Nursing home Rehab! Said the food is worse than the Hosp! LOL... I'll stop at some very overpriced fancy award winning Deli in Brookline on the way to see her and bring some overpriced but award winning and probably YUMMY Hot Mac and Cheese... I found some at 2 delis 12 and 12$ an entree! LOL... AND... I will say right now Bob and I would make it homemade(Bob made a great one at holidays) BUT our OVEN DIED and we can't afford another at present! lol......

Hi everyone else, I DID get a bit of a nap in and rested and did laundry and I look forward to a weekend of rest after going into town tomorrow. I will be going in on Monday too I guess for a family meeting to talk with Med team on Mums return home. Luckily she is still pretty well off and should be able to stay HOME and have full time medical care for yrs to come. She will do better at home. She is NOT a social butterfly and likes quiet peace and home food... so I bet she'll improve much more at home.
Off to see wassup, have a great night, I'll get on here tomorrow if I get a chance...if not over the weekend!

Back again!

NO VISIT! Luckily my sister mentioned Mum had eye Dr appt...and it's when I would have gone to visit! Oh Well, must be a GOOD reason for me not to drive into Boston...but meanwhile I took all my meds in a weird order to make for a pleasent trip so now I'm WIRED right now...and will be SLEEPY as can be later on! LOL...
I kinda feel like you would if you had WAY too much coffee. Not the greatest feeling but I'll live! To think some people take amphetamines and LIKE to feel this way! For me it is that I took my Ritalin EARLY while still having caffiene from morning coffee in system.... Once teh coffee wears off the ritalin sleepies will hit harder than normal. If I had been visiting the adrenaline etc...from the trip would keep me awake till I came home and crashed... I have a feeling there will be THREE snoring bodies on the sofa in a while! Although the other two (dawgs) aren't giving ME any room!

PS Mum sounded GOOD on phone, still coughs talking but less and still HATES the place!

pttm08 - looks like Buster is getting better and living the good life now. He might not want to move back outside.

Heather - I hope there is room for you on the sofa.

I just got back for my pre-op testing. I am going in next Tuesday to get my knee operated on. I could use some prayers for quick healing.

John, Prayers sent and will continue thru healing! Hope it goes Better than Expected! OH...and I DID get a spot on the sofa... twice! I"m ready to nap again now! LOL....

Talked to mum 5pm...she had been at eye dr from 1:45- then and was EXHAUSTED and sounded VERY ruff... breathing not the best etc... Hope they get her comfortable tonight. My sister Martha will NOT be pleased if she still sounds like that when she gets over there...and she'll give em heck if she needs to........

Well...I don't feel like I"m gonna last long before dozing off. lol... Will be back if I wake up if I sleep

John sending prayers for your doctor an a speedy recovery. I am at the hospital tonight with my father in law he had a heart attack Monday and now they think he had a mini stroke this morning. Pray for him please.

The ups and downs with a young dog Wilbur split treed for the first time tonight his Mom was about 35 yards to the left and a little above him Jay was about 45 yard to his right a little above him he was hammering telling the world he had it any way we saw 2 coons his was slicker than a peeled onion oh well maybe he learned something
