Mike, How many people are in your club? There is such thing as a resignation then someone would have to take your place, Chuck does the black sand have some kind of value?

Posted by chuck west on 10-03-2011 10:02 PM:

Linda

Ive heard that the black contains little tiny micro specks of gold in them,,i dont know really how to go about telling you how to crush it and extract the gold even if it does contain gold,, then some folks swear that the black sands around your rose bushes draws more sunlight to make bigger healthier blooms ,,,lol i usually put right back in the creek along with the other sand ,,all i want is the gold!!

Spotty you better watch out---don't get in the shape you did last year. Another year older and might take longer to recover.

Linda we have 22 members in our club. But only 8 working members if you know what I mean. All in all we have a good club. Everyone gets along nobody gets mad if their motion don't make it. They are really a nice bunch of guys to work with.

Howdy folks,,,yes Mike i know what your saying about just a few working to keep a club together ..

Posted by bigtimberkennel on 10-04-2011 02:02 PM:

I know what your talking about Mike. I go to a small church and there are only a few who are willing to do things. People are like that they want to be served but don't want to contribute. I think all the clubs are the same way. Do you guys have any youth events? Been telling Jeff and TD that would be a way to get younger kids interested and keep them out of mischief. Good morning Chuck

Yodel

How close were the yodel dogs ,,bow range or not?? be cool to get one with a bow,,,ive taken red fox with my bow,,still shoot my old Jennings,,vintage bow like 1975 model ,,ive forgotten,,lol

Posted by Mike Milam on 10-04-2011 03:36 PM:

Chuck that was my first Compound bow. Bought it around 1975. loved it. Linda we have not got enough of youth that is interested in hunting. We tried it even had the AKC State Champions down here 3 years and the most we had was 6. Kids these days got to many toys like game drugs and a whole lot of mischief if you know what I mean. I am not insulting anyone but kids wants to stay on game or down town. They don't want to learn about the forest or how to hunt. I wish kids would want to know about sportsmanship. I hope I did not offend anyone. That wasn't my point. SORRY

Mike, My kids would have been the same way but forced them to get out of the house and not sit in front of tv or video games. At the time they thought I was mean now they see my point. Kids now a days are brain dead and all they know is video games have no imagination. I think when small farms started disapearing into the corporate machine was a big downfall to our youth. I Have lived on a farm all my life and if there are no livestock on it to me it is just not a farm. I do realize someday I may not be able to take care of animals but until that day I will!!!!!
