Hello!

Dan W, Prayers for your Mother I Law...hope she gets well if she will have Good Quality of life...and that she be in Gods Loving arms....

Nice Pix and YAY SHEBA!

LONG day yesterday at Mums, home around 10 pm. Had to go to dealership for most of aftn to deal with Richards new car, title from old one etc... then back to work at mums. Had nice time though!
Slept wicked late and did nothing today and Still tired! lol... Snow here, enough to plow and wind. I guess some places are out of power so if I disappear you can thank the wind!

I swear I'll get pix on here one of theses days... really!

thanks guys for the congrad's...King Richards Little Sheba was on her game and did a super job. James, I have Richard shaking his head all weekend it was something to see. Heck he even placed a dog he was hunting on Saturday night to top things off (Badger, out of Moose and Linie) to make him a night champion also. We sure had a blast and Richard was taking home several piece's of hardware. My head isnt swelled and Bonds ears arent hurting but it was definetly fun

Sheba's accomplishments this weekend was:

Thursday Night
1st place RQE 500+
High Scoring Female

Friday
Won All Red Best Female in Bench Show (dogs that hunted on Thursday night)

High Scoring Female

4th place 100+ (to finish her to night champion)

Old John who was known by the congregation for his backsliding and trouble with the truth, finally decided to submit to baptism in order to turn his life around. It was cold in Tennessee, but they decided to proceed for fear he would change his mind, When the day came for the baptism, the deacons had to break up a sheet that had formed on the baptism pool to dip old John. When he came up out of the water, the preacher inquired " Was that water cold john?" To which John replied "Nah" At this the preacher cried "Dunk him again boys, he's still lying".

David was in retirement for several years. He came out of retirement for one hunt and took a little dog that was not flashy and no one else wanted and look what he did!!! I even saw him smile once this weekend. He said that when he got to work today he was going to go ahead and put in for a weeks vacation for the third week in September and I am going to reserve him a room in Elizabettown, Ky.

A RETIREE'S LAST TRIP TO KROGER.............

Yesterday I was at my local Kroger buying a large bag of Purina dog
chow for my loyal pet, Jake, the Wonder Dog and was in the check-out
line when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog.

What did she think I had an elephant?

So because I'm retired and have little to do, on impulse I told her
that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Purina Diet again. I
added that I probably shouldn't, because I ended up in the hospital
last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an
intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and
IVs in both arms.

I told her that it was essentially a Perfect Diet and that the way
that it works is, to load your pants pockets with Purina Nuggets and
simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is
nutritionally complete so it works well and I was going to try it
again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in line was
now enthralled with my story.)

Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care, because the dog
food poisoned me. I told her no, I stopped to Pee on a Fire Hydrant
and a car hit me.

I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was
Laughing so hard.

Kroger won't let me shop there anymore. Better watch what you ask
retired people. They have all the time in the World to think of crazy
things to say. Forward this (especially) to all your retired
friends...it will be their laugh for the day!

The Baptist Cowboy

A cowboy, who just moved to Wyoming from Texas , walks into a bar and orders three mugs of Bud. He sits in the back of the room, drinking a sip out of each one in turn. When he finishes them, he comes back to the bar and orders three more.

The bartender approaches and tells the cowboy, "You know, a mug goes flat after I draw it. It would taste better if you bought one at a time."

The cowboy replies, "Well, you see, I have two brothers. One is in Arizona , the other is in Colorado . When we all left our home in Texas , we promised that we'd drink this way to remember the days when we drank together. So I'm drinking one beer for each of my brothers and one for myself."

The bartender admits that this is a nice custom, and leaves it there.

The cowboy becomes a regular in the bar, and always drinks the same way. He orders three mugs and drinks them in turn.

One day, he comes in and only orders two mugs. All the regulars take notice and fall silent. When he comes back to the bar for the second round, the bartender says, "I don't want to intrude on your grief, but I wanted to offer my condolences on your loss."

The cowboy looks quite puzzled for a moment, then a light dawns in his eyes and he laughs.

"Oh, no, everybody's just fine," he explains, "It's just that my wife and I joined the Baptist Church and I had to quit drinking."

The son thanks his Mom and goes off to double-check this with his father.

The husband is still in intensive care and the prognosis is not good!!!

Hi Everyone!

AWESOME pic Shannon! PURTY gals, both of them!!!

Warm here today, in the 40s. Slick snow ice mud yuck but still had a nice short walk around with the dawgs. I was glad they were goos cuase i'm havin a bad arthritis week... Rt shoulder feels like it would fall OFF if the dogs pulled...LOL
Lazy day, did nothing again...Bob was back at work after his 3 day weekend...and I always miss him after a long weekend tons. Bet he HATES going back to work even more! LOL... he actually loves what he does...just doesn't like working for step family...since they are mean to him.... It's good money though, even after the 40% "temporary paycut" from 10 yrs ago....so he stays. We are fortunate he has the job!
Getting grey out. NO clue what the weather holds for us in the future... our cable tv wasn't working upstairs this am so we missed the am news....lol...
