Can't wait....See everyone at E-Days and yes I'm going to hunt this year on Thursday and Saturday...got to leave on Friday for grandsons graduation but will return Saturday...Larry

Larry,

My family and I are hopefully going to be at English Days on Saturday. Hope to see you there. Hopefully sometime either this coming week or the next week I'll get over to go hunting. Been busy packing up. My wife is playing the piano at a wedding this weekend so we are busy with rehearsal tonight and the wedding tomorrow.

Sounds like a good weekend for Gun pups. My partner Jamie Green put a first on our female out of Gun and our Hardtime Miss Kitty female.

Good thing you were able to get a male pup out of Ruby Larry. After the bad luck Asa had with her last weekend. She left her mark in the woods as well as the breeding pen.

Good to hear from you Jim, Ruby was and is one of the best cooners on this planet...Just bad, bad luck...Asa is a supper nice guy and a great handler he won Grand nite Michigan State Championship Friday with Ruby and her hurt for the last hour of the cast...Up all night and day at the vets with her and went home and grabed Witch and won Gr Nt Saturday...It was a great weekend for Gun pups and congrats on your win....Ruby only raised two pups from 2nd cross I got great looking male and Asa keep the female....Look out E-Days Asa and Thunder will be there..As far as photos got to get someone else to post them Ha.......Larry

Let me be one of the 1st to give congratulations on here to my friend Asa Briggs and his Thunder pup 1 year old....Gun/Ruby....9th place Thursday, 4th place Friday, and 1st place Saturday...High scoring English, High scoring dog overall winning the 2014 English days...Way to go Buddy........Also congrats to Eric Evans who got nite champion wins Thursday and Friday on his young Critter pup Jack/Rita.....Two fine men who know how to do it right........................Larry

That is fantastic Larry you and Asa must be proud that Ace is something else wont find a harder hunter or better guy. Ace congrats!!

Powder started trailing and treeing tonight. No meat yet but it was only her 5th time to the woods. Should be cranking by the time the corn comes in. She's gonna have a pretty good mouth too! Gun x mouse

Gun x GR NITE CH Heidi's Nocturnal Affair

I have two Gun pups. A male I've mentioned previously out of Gun x Cool Pop and a female out of Gun x Heidi's Nocturnal Affair.

The female has been treeing with the old dog for a few months now, but I haven't seen a lot out of her until the last two weeks. I swear this female spends more time on her back two feet winding scent out of the air more than any pup I have ever seen. I think she is going to make a good one and talk about a looker! Man she is built with cat like feet and straight legs. I haven't pushed a dog on the bench in a good while, but I'm definitely going to make this gyp a Grand Show Champion. She just went through her first heat cycle, so she's ready to put some hard hunting on her this summer.
