Morning!

Brrrrrrrr 8.1 but the wind must be making it worse. I wouldn't know cause I am INSIDE! Dawgs too..funny they are not begging to go in and out and in and out like normal! Even Daisy is inside and happy...lol...
Sad thing is... as of now Bob said there is only one living feral cat in the hayloft.... "Snuffie" is real old now... and the Older long haired kitty (I think it was Meowiee but I am really not sure any more).... has not been seen for about a week or so.... That means poor SNuffie has no one to cuddle with! I do wonder if any of the coon live in there and don't just come to eat??? Maybe he is still friends with some of the kits from the last few yrs and THEY cuddle with him???? Days like this when it's this cold I wish that kitty was tame... he'd come in and live out his days in the basement with Scairdey cat... We DO have 2 heated waterers in the hayloft. Snuffie will NOT die of the cold but it still breaks my heart when only one of any type is left.... There is still one other feral cat left but not a hayloft kitty. "no name" has a home somewhere else we think and eats there on the days he's not here.... he is FAT and happy... He is the one who lets me pat him a little bit when he eats in the tackroom... Maybe HE will go up to SNuffie now????
Can you all tell I'm worried about all the critters who have to be out in the cold???? Thinking LOTS about all of you guys! I know it has been brutal! BE CAREFUL out there!

No COLD sweet tea today I imagine! Nice HOT cuppa tea might be nice though!!!

A good and cold morning would not be quite as bad if the wind would stop 10 mph winds with gusts up to 14 made the temp of 18 a little cool last night no strikes I think every thing but me and Samantha was holed up

I wonder if Linkous's blue roosters were a crowing this morning

Roosters were hollaring this morning, i went over and opened a can of corn and spread it out yesterday, hate to see something without food, have yet to figure out where the heck they came from...Bond?

all i could see of Ol Rambler was his nose buried in the hay inside his box...snow coming again Friday morning they say, hope we aint getting into one of them 7 day weather cycles

Bristol COUNTY? in Ma? or Bristol RI? or CT? lol... not sure where you really mean... but I'll tell you if you give me a bit more detail.... Can't help but worry about the critters. I think alot of the guys do...and feed a bit extra etc... to the critters.....
ApplePie and driving= BIG trouble!!! OUCH!

SUn shining, no wind so teh walk wasn't TOO bad. I also used a nice new pr of glovemitts I have a had a couple yrs and not tried. Real thin fleece and it WORKED for dawg walking! YAY...but we just did one BRISK loop around. Just the "wind" created moving was enough for my cheeks!

Stay warm, Be good and Corky... you take care of your boss and keep her warm!

Where is the sunshine. It is too cold here.
I try to take care of the critters as much as I can. Since both of mine have real issues with anything in there houses. Tried shavings straw leaves and they will keep nothing in there houses.so went out and bought big fluffy dog pillows since it would be so cold. well juice still has hers but buster ate and tore his wide open the first night. Might try putting them in the same pen. Waiting to get home to find out what surprise I have now.

Shannon, Had a FEELING you were talking about Bristol, RI. LOL... but HAD to be sure... It's about one HOUR so not too far! You'll have to let me know if you're coming and Bob and I will arrange visit etc... we have a HUGE (unfinished) house with TONS of extra room for free sleepOver if ya need a place to stay etc... We'll keep in touch about it for SURE!!
PT... alot of dawgs HATE bedding... I know horses can be the same. I recall spending tons of time cleaning a stall and bedding it thickly and then having the horse move all the bedding to sleep on bare floor...Grrrr...... Wind break is the most important thing!
Still a bit chilly here......... LOL... Stay Warm, Heather

Heather !!!! Omg !! Me and Lindz will be looking you up in July !! You wouldn't be any trouble !! Lol ... Billy's first concert is the first week in July !! Yay yay .. He's a good friend of mine .. BRrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Balmy 2.1 here without wind... Bob said it was WICKED... Heck, the dawgs even pooped on the walkabout so they wouldn't have to go back out.... As I've said before we are somewhat used to this up here...but I worry about my Southern friends. I"m suspecting NO ONE wants sweet tea too much at the moment...

Today will be a long day .. Working at an ole Wv lovers home today , then coming home to pack for Atlanta .. For the service on Friday @11...
Friday will be one heck if a day .. Not only bc of the service .. But it is my Anna's birthday !! Jan. 25, 2011 !! Wow !!
