WHEW!!!

Just got back from another big loop. Found her treed 3 miles away on a big ol cottonwood next to a couple train tracks. Got lucky there. Bad thing is I stopped there a couple hours ago but 2 trains were going thru. Glad I decided to try one more time tonite. Snip was right with her but wasn't barking. Wudda been kinda neat to have that knucklehead treein'. Both seemed wore out and thirsty.

Was a major relief when I shut the truck off and heard her, bout hung myself with the seatbelt trying to get out to go get her. I figured they'd be farther away than that.

I spoke to soon about not having snow down here. we got just enough to cover the ground but it won't take long to melt if it warms up. Gonna be cold the next few days, talkin single digits.

The snow is fine it's the **** ice under it that sucks. We only made one drop and I think we each fell on back sides enough for a while at least I know I did. Jiggs had one on the outside about 50 yards over from this big den.

Yeah Duane said in his timber its nothing but ice still. I have a bad back so Im very cautious about the ice and slick banks.

Duane said the fella up north thats has Jiggs sister is 110% happy with her.

I knew those dogs would make hounds. There momma is dead now too.

Hey you ought to put a vote in for the blue reunion that is on here. That would be awesome to have it in Iowa. We could have it at the mahaska county fairgrounds. There are a lot of people that would be willin to help out. Just a thought!!

Hey Corey, glad my starter on my truck didn't go out last nite like it did tonite. Got home from work and stopped at the old house to grab a few things, hopped in the truck and nothing. Had to beat on the starter to get it going so I could get it back to the house.

Was going to take the dogs for a run tonite, guess I'll stay home.

By the way, Jiggs is on the left and Dutch is on the right.
