Hi Everyone!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr we're in a lil cold spell here! Was 12 when Bob left for work this am...had warmed to a balmy 17 when I called to wake Mum...lol... I think it came CLOSE to 39 at some point. Speaking of cold...lol... dawgs were pills this aftn cause we kept hearing helicopters right over head. It was dark... around 4 or so I guess.... Ended up a couple hikers were 40 up on "the rock" which is Joes Rock just at one end of the wetlads across the st. All the news stations were over head, rescue crews from multi towns etc... NOW, this is a lil hiking path... that lead to and past Joes Rock, with Bucks Pond at the bottom and the path going along the pond etc... Its a place we used to love to walk the hounds and ride the horses etc. Kids would go up sometimes after dark to smoke some pot etc... neat lil rock climb when my son Richard was a scout etc... NOT an easy climb for anyone trying to scale the whole thing.... and not a place you'de wanna slip at the top. I have pix I might have posted on UKC at some point of me in Blaze orange in a tree up on top if I recall...ANYWAY... if you were to go out there ANYHWERE near dark you'd HAVE to have a light...even in good weather with no ice/snow... and in winter you'd THINK you'd dress well???? NOW, we don't know yet if it was kids or adults etc... but they were uninjured and COLD and gone to the Hosp to be checked. It cost tons in rescue crew time and all the fuel for the copters etc... All cause a couple people did something DUMB! Akk... We jad one family member call to check it was OUR kids! lol... Brandon and his GF Mary have gone out many times at night there to get sunset and moon pix(photography projects for college)... but were well dressed and had LIGHTS etc...DUH!
OK, Rant done but it sure is nice to NOT hear helicopters any more!
Tired as can be all day. Did "brain work" at mums sorting and describing(since she is legally blind) and putting away or throwing away "stuff" in her house. We got ONE TABLE TOP done...LOL... in an 8000 plus SF house! lol... It was fun and I came home with lots of cool stuff....lol...but I was home after 9pm last night and too tired to get on here and say HI!
SO... HI! and BRrrrrrrrrr!
NICE lil pup Corky!!! Hope he does awesome!
