Corey, guess we'll have to get together again to try and get a pic of Dutch and Jiggs on the same tree. At least we got a few coon anyway.

How did you guys hunt turn out. I turned loose 2 nites ago in a nice timber we use to hunt and sonsa #$@!%^ logged it. Man you talk about tree tops. At least they left the dens.
Timber around here is so scarce.

Got few coon treed and had a good hunt and a good time. Spent all night going opposite directions to dogs though. Shaker is one nice tree dog. Him and jiggs did a nice job. Shoved the first coon up dutches rear. Had a good hunt tonight too.

When I had Shaker he was young and coming on strong. Im glas Steve is hunting the hair off him.

Glad you had a good time Corey. Always a pleasure to hunt with different folks, dad and I do most of our hunting together so it's nice to get out with other people and other dogs.

Bryan, I don't think you've hunted with Jiggs since we got him from Duane. He sure has changed since hide season started, holding to trees real good now. Any time you want to get together for a hunt let me know.

Maybe someday I'll find out if Shaker and Jiggs can reproduce. I'd take a kennel full of either one of them.

We'll have to do it again sometime. We usually come down a few weekends in the summer to go out on the river with amy's dad. I can always through a dog in. Maybe then we can get jiggs and dutch on the same tree.

Jiggs did a nice job too. He's got a real nice bawl mouth. He's got the tools. Him and shaker will finish out easy.

Steve whats the plans tonite? Maybe my buddy and I can come that direction and hunt in Mo. Seems most timbers are gone around here.
Let me know and Ill see what his plans are. I know he would like to hunt with Shaker and Jiggs too. He has a 15 month old B&T that won't cause any trouble. I can throw in Lucy and Annie too. We can make several turn outs if the weather holds out.

I know Duane is missing his hunting. He still doesn't feel like hunting. He did go the other nite but just sat in the truck. Not much fun I know!

Hey Corey, I think Dutch showed Deisel how to run a track through the frost and work it for 40 min, and put the meat on the other end. It wasn't the most exciting till I saw a coon asleep in the crotch of the tree, and then he showed me how he smokes a big ol boar after that. Im glad he didn't catch that one. His teeth were LARGE. Im goin to lay him up till next Friday. He needs to heal up after catchn those this week. He looks rough. Gonna hunt Walleye tonight after our family thing somewhere north of the house. The other Brother in law has a couple mile spot on the river Im gonna check out. Ill get in touch we will have to hunt soon Jeff P.S. And yes after 40 min that coon came down, not the biggest coon but he earned it.

How'd it go last night Jeff. I ended up working on my basement and watching football all night. Should of went hunting but I'd been putting the basement off for a while.

Woody got on the board. Walleye got in a hole , and the third dump woody treed on a big tree, didn't find no coon but it would have been easy to get fooled on. Went home, it was hard to look at the top of a tree with all the snow hitn ya in the eye. Jeff

Just got off the phone with Clint Carmichael who is hunting two young dutch pups and he said they have been under 67 coon this fall. Some with the old dogs but most of them have been all alone. I got to watch these 2 pups grind out a bad track on a full moon frosty night and have the meat. In the last week they have treed 15 all alone. Not bad for two 11 month old pups this time of year.

Magic Bullett is tearing up the woods as well! We have a man in Ill hunting him for us right now, he says he is the best 11 month old pup he has been to woods with in a long time. Will try and post a pic tomorrow PM. Bullett has a big bawl mouth and is a real tree dog. Dutch is sure a great reproducer of natural starting pups. Talk to you later and thanks for your help.

I am a failure...!

I'm dissapointed in myself but I haven't had him in one yet...This college mess is taking all my time. Haven't had the chance yet but hopefully over the next month I can. He has only gotten better since I got him. Wasn't a thing wrong with him then. Have a good one.
