Yesterday was Christians birthday .. He is a pre-teen .. Besides being called every name in the book for my different vote .. It was a good day.. I will say one thing .. No matter how you vote .. You WILL find out who your true friends and family are .. The ones that really care will NOT disown you for your choice of voting !! I .. On the other hand was dis-owned by some of my family members !!! Guess I probably will on here too .. Yesterday my heart was hurt about a million times .. And cried about 2 million for the hash words .. I'm glad it's over ... Any way .. I'm trying to pick myself up today and move on..

The kids and I went to putt putt for Christians birthday .. I thought I'd share some pix's with you .. Khloe sure is a silly girl .. Making all those faces ...

Two women were playing golf. One teed off and watched in horror as her ball headed directly toward a foursome of men playing the next hole. The ball hit one of the men. He immediately clasped his hands together at his groin, fell to the ground and proceeded to roll around in agony.

The woman rushed down to the man and immediately began to apologize.

“Please allow me to help. I’m a physical therapist and I know I could relieve your pain if you’d allow me,” she told him.

“Oh, no, I’ll be all right. I’ll be fine in a few minutes,” the man replied.

He was in obvious agony, lying in a fetal position, still clasping his hands together at his groin. At her persistence, however, he finally allowed her to help.

She gently took his hands away and laid them at his side, loosened his pants and put her hands inside. She administered tender and artful massage for several long moments and asked, “How does that feel?”

He replied, ” It feels great but I still think my thumb is broken!"

We were sad but not completely suprised that Brown lost. It IS a dem. state...and aLOT of women...wanted a woman in there. Hopefully Brwon will have a future and be able to help us. We genuinely like him.

Shannon, sad about how people can feel about how you vote.... I am fortunate to have good friends and family. MOST of them. I grew up in such a diverse area... I knew and had friends who were liberals conservatives, Christians, Jews, Hindus, Muslims...Black, White, Latino, Asian... Etc.... since I was a little girl. My mother was an artist so I knew gay and lesbian people who she had gone to school with and befriended. I was taught to be good to ALL people and that there are Good and Bad people of all kinds. I guess I always assumed everyone would treat everyone else KINDLY. I was a bit naive.... I am still very openminded in some ways. Liberabl about some things abd conservative about others. I try to treat all people with kindness and respect(when they really deserve it). I hate that people would be critical of how you feel. Stay STRONG and know that YOU are important and your views are important.
That said.... I told everyone around me a month or so ago I would no longer talk about politics with ANYONE! I was so sick of the MEAN spirited behavior of the tv ads alone.... People should pull together in tuff times not seperate further!

SO, On that note... I will tell you about Athena the Snow storm. We got a good solid six wet inches. Bob had to plow....LOL.... Pretty of course. We never lost power and I am really enjoying having a fire every day so I could care less about the weather! LOL... The DOGS were THRILLED to go play in the snow and I was up till 3 am cause Webster kept having to go out... then he'd eat snow and have to go out again! LOL... He LOVES snow and is obsessed with icecubes now too(Oops... I gave him a sliver during the summer... )
SO, winter has begun here and we have some warm days ahead! We always LOVE the warm days after the cold snow....lol...

GREAT news, My sister in Long Island HAS ELECTRICITY back! Mum called tonight to tell me. YAY!

SHannon, You remind me a ton of myself... it is easy to get hurt when you FEEL so much... just don't change! ALL of the hurts are worth the good things you can give others....
