He's pretty good!.......the only thing that would make him better is if it would stay dark 24/7 so he could just hunt all day long!....he loves it!

Le has about 70 pups, all most 1/2 are under 2 and most are under 16 months down to 8 months old. There are some that have won and some that will never get a chance too. I have hunted with some nice ones that I would like to own and plain ol sorry 1's also. Just like in any line, breeding coon dog to coon dog don't always work.but I sure feel better breeding to a good female.
Some ? For the guy's hunting or have hunted with dog's out of Le .you don't have to be the owner, If the dog is to young to answer yet just answer best you can.I know a lot of the owners are older and don't mess with the internet they just coon hunt. If you read this and can not post ,text or call me,just doing some homework like everyone should.
1) name of dog and what cross is your dog from.
2) what kind of track mouth. (Bawl, chop, squall, short bawl,is it loud )
3) locate (what kind is it loud)
4) tree mouth (heavy chop, ringing chop, bawl is it loud )
5) independent (track, tree, both,or a loner or a me too dog)
6) accuracy (does it have coons when it trees)
7) track style (drifting, silent, wide open, fast slow)
8) tree style (stand in 1 spot, sit down, jack chew)
9) is it smart ,dumb,just a dog or a buddy )
10) any thing else you want to ad good or bad
Thanks, I will post later about mine and some others that I have hunted with good and bad. I ain't scared to tell it the way i see it hope you're the same.

Well I have two out dogsbout of LE one is Daisy she is out of LE X Patches she has a chop mouth track. She has a double sometimes triple screaming locate that sounds like a male dog
She is a loud stead chop tree dog that stands with her belly on the tree in one spot she can be independent but not always she is good about having a coon I wouldn't consider her a wide open track dog but by no means is she silent she is smart and a buddy.

The 2nd big is still a pup he is 15 months old his name is Trigger and he is out of LE X Snowball he has a short bawl on track has a huge locate that is loud he has a steady chop on tree he has split but hasn't been hunted much with other dogs he is very accurate so far he is pretty silent on track he will stand or sit on the tree he doesn't jack the tree or chew he seems pretty smart for his age.
They are both houndy looking and are both loud.

Here goes.I'll tell about Thor and Blue.Thor I raised and trained.Blue my dad owns and I've hunted with him a lot.i
1.Both were littermates and Blue dogs.
2.Thor was chop mouthed and Blue is bawl, squall mix.
3.Both had a good locate.
4.Thor had a hard coarse chop.Blue has a hard ringing chop.
5.Thor wouldnt hold pressure at all.Blue will finish what he starts seperate but if nothing's going on he will haul the mail to join in.
6.Both were accurate.Blue is atleast 90% accurate.
7.Thor was wide open and usually fast on a hot to medium track.Blue is medium to semi-silent and never barks in the same spot twice. He can run any track and has impressed me several times on cold feeder tracks with the meat.
8.Thor was a chest on the wood classy stand in one spot treedog.Blue is a chest of the wood tree dog that will jack alittle.
9.Thor was average smart.Blue is yard dog smart.
10.I have seen these LE dogs tree truckloads of coon. Are they perfect? No.Easiest most natural coontreers I've ever seen. They all have had a ton of heart and grit.Id prolly hunt Blue against any dog out there.Coon for Coon hes one tuff nut and rarely misses.

L.E. x Snowball

#1 l.e. snowball.....Bruizer
#2bawl chop on track
#3 1 big loud locate
#4 hard and steady
#5 8/10 time he will be by him self
#6 85/90% so far.....does not aim to miss
#7 opens enough to let you know where he's going....but he's FAST!....put a lot of pressure on a coon!
#8 one spot belly up tree dog.....Will sit on his butt on very seldom
#9 probably the most level headed dog I messed with...by far!#
#10 if you keep breeding him I'm going to buy a pup!

L.E.xbrush creek kelly

#1 L.E. x brush creek Kelly......Dixie
#2 bawl squall on track
#3 monster sound like she getting run over by a train locate.....that I loved!
#4 hard and crazy pull a dog in type tree dog!
#5 would back a dog but needs no help to tree!
#6 50/50 she may have she may not!
#7 wide open on a track
#8 belly up type but had her own style
#9 this dog in my opinion was not a level headed!
#10 if you notice when I talk about her I say " she had" that's because I don't own her any more!.....but she was very intense dog in all aspects!

Don't worry not all are good and some are.
Dottie and lady (Le x Wendy )owed by a friend of mine named Chris

1is a nice dog 1 wasn't
Dottie short bawl mouth lady squall
Dottie trees coons lady made alot of trees
Both had good mouths and locates Dottie had a triple chop lady had a dieing bawl
Dottie ran some off game but stopped with some help lady just treed to much.
Dottie opened her and there on a coon and wide open on a deer, lady opened a little more but wasn't a babbler
Last time I hunted with Dottie she looked good last time I hunted with lady my opinion was the same I didn't like her.
Dottie ended getting ran over at about 4 years old while coon hunting, we will say lady lived a short live being culled before 2 years old ,

General Lee (Le x izzy )
Hasn't been hunted enough to give a honest opinion yet because my buddy has been building a house but that should change when the weather brakes
Seems independent
Has a Big mouth bawl squall track
Chop and some squall on tree will stand on the wood and sit down and tree.
When the weather brakes will find out more

I prolly shouldnt say much but i had a pup out of lee x kelly it was a dud but it happens but iv hunted with the liter mates for years and i havnt seen any better coon dogs out there they have there flaws but facts are are they but coons up a tree. I am now working on another one which will be a top notch coon coon dog cross my fingers . Many years ago i would have said i would never own a english dog until i hunted with limited edition lee and seen that bloodline tree hundreds of coons im excited to own a red dog cant wait to see what he turns out to be !!!!! And hopefully you all will get to see Blue in the hunts in the new future were workin hard to make it happen soooooo. Thanks Doug And p.s. Whats the next litter going to be ?

Limited Edition A-O-Kay ( Le x snowball )
Started early treeing coons but was silent now she opens good she is chop mouth on track action packed good strike dog but will just fall treed.
Independent will back some but doesn't want to (still young and hasn't been hunted with many dogs yet)
Good locate-good tree dog trees coons have seen her miss but not all that much.
Mouth is good ,ringing chop that I can hear real good,
Fun to hunt action packed tree dog.
Could use a bigger set of wheels under her sometime but should come with some age.
I hate this about her, When you feed her and she starts eating she will gard her feed and growl the hole time. But when she's done she is fine never have had 1 do this before, I am trying different stuff to see if I can get get her out of this, you can feed her out of your hand and she is fine.crazy

I have 2 le pups. The first one is the Morgan dog
1 Le x Brush creek Kelly
2 His got many track mouths mainly bawl sqawl and he will winne cry the only thing he wont do is chop on a track
3 His got three locates a loud dying bawl, and a double sometimes triple chop
4 He has a loud chop not overbearing but loud enough for my ears to hear when in company He will get louder and more intinsty with company
5 His accuracy is about 80%
6 He will get by himself and he will cover if he doesnt have anything going.
7.He will drift a track quick on med.to hot track and Ive seen him slow it down when he needs to now It took him alot of soloing to get him to slow down and work a track He figured out what to with it finaly
8 His tree style is his down fall he well jack a tree its starting to slow down a little more training needed on his style
9 He is a smart very kennel friendly hound handles like a dream no leash needed from kennel to truck to tree to truck to kennel
10 He was a natural when he was 3 months he stuck his nose up my females rear and never looked back at 4 and a half months he was split treeing and with the meat

The other le pups is Thunder( Le x Fancy) cross his 8 months Iam in partnership with a buddy 8 year old boy named I havent worked to hard on him yet Noah But love his actions and just like his brother very smart and good in kennel . Doug I will get James on here tomorrow and type in for him
