Aubrey and Terry Goza and i had a good hunt with good dog work and a great mule ride. There was a lot of laughs. I got a few pictures but in the rain and fog they are not that clear.

Danny, time sure does fly. Dogs are getting older. Season will be over soon. And the kids keep growing so fast! Crazy how that works! See you this spring.

Good pics, Carl. Aubrey had a great time also. Entertainment (in the form of Carl & Terry) was second to none, and great dog work too!

Dogs look good I know how hard you huint the dogs & they look good . I have a couple of hard keepers so I been trying different food feeding PRIDE PRO SERIES 26 /20 . WHATS YOUR BAG SIZE MY PRIDE IS 50LBS THANKS!

Tom, we tried Pride a couple years ago.....would never buy again. We like Diamond Naturals Chicken & Rice ....... or Beef & Rice is pretty good too. Diamond Naturals Extreme Athlete is a real good food, but you've got to be careful you don't give them too much. I think its a 40 lb bag.

Aubrey & the kids had a fun hunt last night. 3 trees & 3 coon.

Oh common Carl. All it takes is a little sunshine to warm up those trees during the day, and those coon will be running around all over. I've treed a pile of coon in the snow. It is fun when you can see there tracks.

Yes i have treed a lot of coon also in the snow. And you are right it is fun when you can see there tracks in the snow. How has your season been going good i hope. I have talked with Rodney the other night. Wish he was younger so he could come and go hunting with us.

What have you experienced while feeding it? I fed it a little last Summer and did notice the dogs only needed about 1/2 as much. I've been debating going back to it for the Winter since my dog that is getting hunted the most is all skin and bones with Sportmix 24/20.

Brandon, in the summer especially, you've really got to make sure you don't feed them too much. Dogs will get hot on it. Basically what the back of the bag says or a little less even. Probably would be a good feed for the winter though.

Got an update from Zeb Holsevik. He says Fury (yet another Rip x Rose pup) has been doing a nice job for him this fall. He's been hunting her solo most of the time.

Thought we'd share this pic, the temps are low and the snow is deep, so Aubrey hasn't been hunting any this week. Our up and coming back-up handler has been working hard keeping the dogs in shape though.....walking them to the mailbox and back.

Josh Wilson sent over a picture of his 11 month old Rip x Joy pup, Digger, and some of his coon hides this season. Digger is really doing a nice job for his age. Aubrey got to see him go once this fall and he liked what he saw.....another Rip pup turning the crank. Keep up the good work with him Josh!

Took Phatboy (AKA Rip), JJ and Squirrel last night. We were in a big section of woods in some steep terraine. Rip was right at home.My legs are killing me. LOL
5 tree's total. 1 split. Which was JJ on a den and Rip was 30' away with da meat. All others were dens.
Phatboy is in LOVE with JJ. All the way back to the Jeep he was trying to have his way with her. I'd stop, look at the garmin and then have to chase him off of her.. Such a goof he his. I kept telling him she's fixed. He didn't care.

I was working with some pups. Here is a Ox x Dice cross.

I went out last night treed one and put one under a big rock that ran out past me and got in a hole. But that was a big coon.

Aub sold some hides yesterday. He let Abram and Nora each pick out 2 to sell for their own. Nora wasted no time, grabbed 2 out of the pile and went, but Abram had to slowly weed through them and look them over good.....he wasn't too thrilled when Nora's brought more money than his. They both did pretty well though!

Yes, Clyde's sire, Razor Red, produced 3 Quad Champions that I'm aware of. Our Rip and Mike Chirrico's Daisy and Echo. Clyde has a few others that are working toward it, and Rip has a few too. Clyde himself has points in both the field and the water, but hard saying if we'll ever get him finished or not, he's the old man now and is always competing with his offspring. It would be neat though.

Lacie Ray Brown. Born at 3:12 am 1/21/2013. 5lbs 12oz. 19" long.
Both mom and baby are doing well.
Heres a kicker. If you look at her B-date. Her daddy's B-date is the 21st. My b-date is the 20th, and her brother Andres' is the 13th. How cool is that.
