Hi to everyone elas and sorry if I forgot some important catch up but I'm TIRED! lol...
WOrked till late at mums last night and had a GREAT visit with her. Found out that MY NEPHEW in NY is FINE and at his Mums(my sisters) helping them to bleach the basement etc... from the flooding! YAY he is FINE! HE was just unable to get calls out with cell towers down! Mum was SO happy!
Bob went in to do some work for her today(not paid work...I told her I would LOAN him to her and she was FORBIDDEN to pay!)... he rewired a BUNCH of her burglar alarm... she has real leaded glass windows and those are tuff on wires...and Bob can do elec. and wiring stuff well...and FREE so we saved her TONS off $$$.... he also fixed a couple lamps and had NO time to visit! She DID end up giving him payment.... She gave him a Beautiful pic of her.... with me when I was VERY little... it is my fav. and I have a copy of it in one of my photoalbums... now HE has one too! lol... She cant see it any more...and it is in her memories anyway... I'd LOVE to see if we could blow it up and frame it some day... she is so beautiful and you can see how MUCH I love her in it....

Good morning.

Thanks everyone for thr prayers for my mother in law. She is still in ICU but she has improved. She now recognizes people and can talk. Alot of people have been praying and the prayers are being answered.

WB & Shannon - great pics.

No work for me today .... I have been selected for jury duty.

4 more days and I am on vacation. I can't wait.

Thanks again for the prayers, they are greatly appreciated. I hope everyone has a great day.

Well I am still here but have been real busy. We haven't started pickin cotton or soybeans yet. We have about 850 acres to harvest. This rain is messing it all up and now there is a Noreaster on the way. On top of that I have been trying to finish up the bathroom in my house so I can move in, a grad school project, and regular work. Busy Busy Busy I too only have 4 days till a I get a bit of a vacation too.

Well a nice weekend had to work on my truck Saturday instead of deer hunting after the payback I got from the coon I turned loose. ( climbed under truck, dogs tore 7 wires off my transmission, I only had 2 and 3rd gears,lol) But it is fixed now. Had a great chase Friday night ended up with my buddies redtick in a hole couldn't find my bluedog though. After pulling his dog out found out my dog was under the coon in the hole. The young boys with us thought that was the most amazing thing ever. So always something to keep them interested. But of course no one ever thought to use a phone to video it or anything.

An Amish lady is trotting down the road in her horse and buggy when she is pulled over by a cop.

“Ma’am, I’m not going to ticket you, but I do have to issue you a warning. You have a broken reflector on your buggy.”

“Oh, I’ll let my husband, Jacob, know as soon as I get home.”

“That’s fine. Another thing, ma’am. I don’t like the way that one rein loops across the horse’s back and around one of his nuts. I consider that animal abuse. That’s cruelty to animals. Have your husband take care of that right away!”

Later that day, the lady is home telling her husband about her encounter with the cop. “Well, dear, what exactly did he say?”

“He said the reflector is broken.”

“I can fix that in two minutes. What else?”

“I’m not sure, Jacob … something about the emergency brake.

pttm08 - I have had several turn out coon seek refuge in the truck. Although I have never gottten any damage from it, it sure is a pain in the butt.

I will go and vote this morning and then I have to go back and complete the trial.

Three more days until vacation.
