They had the nerve to ask me to leave walmart last week.

All I was doing was testing a skeet thrower.

They couldn't understand why I was in the dish section.

Hell, I thought everybody knew that Corelle doesn't break.

Dorothy and Edna, two "senior" widows, are talking.

Dorothy: "That nice George Johnson asked me out for a date.? I know you went out with him last week, and I wanted to talk with you about him before I give him my answer."

Edna: "Well, I'll tell you. He shows up at my apartment punctually at 7:00 P.M., dressed like such a gentleman in a fine suit, and he brings me such beautiful flowers! Then he takes me downstairs, and what's there but a luxury car... a limousine, uniformed chauffeur and all. Then he takes me out for dinner... a marvelous dinner... lobster, champagne, dessert, and after-dinner drinks. Then we go see a show. Let me tell you, Dorothy, I enjoyed it so much I could have just died from pleasure! "

"So then we are coming back to my apartment and he turns into an ANIMAL Completely crazy, he tears off my expensive new dress and has his way with me two times!"

Dorothy: "Goodness gracious!... so you are telling me I shouldn't go out with him?"

Edna: "No, no, no... I'm just saying, wear an old dress."

THINGS THAT TAKE 50 YEARS TO LEARN

1.) Never under any circumstances take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

12.) Take out the fortune before you eat the cookie.

Hi All!

Raining raining raining here.... I was smart though and did my chores BEFORE the rain and even got a decent walk in with the dawgs before getting TOO wet. They went INSANE over at the begining of the wetlands. For a second I had that HEART RACING feeling Right before you let the hounds loose.... SIGH.... Someday I'll get out on a hunt again!

Hope you all have a Great night! Bob is lucky and actually has band night. He has had WAY too many Fridays off and last week I was in Boston after Mum was at hosp so he would have had to cancel anyway... Poor guy! He LOVES to get with the band and make noise.... THe dawgs FINALLY settled down... after the last time they were running around like fools and asked to go out.... I left them WAY longer than they wanted...LOL... Hoping it would make them lie down and REST....and it worked BUT... took me FOREVER to get them dry enough to share the sofa! Oops! lol....

Sitting here watching the end of another Patriots game nailbiter...AKkkkk.... tied up right at the end.... AKKkk!!!!!

Nice Pix Dan! VERY beautiful country!

Sat with Mum was nice. I went right from my truck to the river to get some pix before working. I walked down quite a ways thru the BU campus and took an over head pedestrian bridge across Storrow drive(no other way humanly possible to get over to the river at that point....) then I walked up the river towards the BU bridge which is right by Mums and snapped pix and watched races. I figured I'd get to the bridge and get up there and walk back over to Mums. WELL I got to the bridge and past it...snapping those pix and thinking HMMMmmm... where are the stairs up??? And then I turned and walked ALL the way back to the crossover bridge and walked home to mums...lol... It was already 70 and I was in a sweatshirt and sweaty! The joggers and bicyclists were all DRIPPING with sweat. A GORGEOUS Oct day! I finally got to Mums and had a nice day with her. One of my "jobs" was looking thru a box of pix with her and marking which infant was my son, Richard and which my nephew Anthony. It was real nice to see some OLD family pix too.... I got home pretty late last night and we stayed up and watched some weird "horror" movie... more of a thriller... I woke tired and just not myself... I took Tylenol and still had a head ache and tummy ache and finally took "Bonine" the stuff you take for motion sickness... and was able to eat a NICE Big Meal of pasta with Bob's yummy especially garlic filled batch of pesto.... YUM! Now I fell absolutely fine... yay!
Corky, sorry no wins but glad you had fun!

OH NO... now the Jets are ahead! Akkk... what is with our Patriots????
will work on getting some pix from yesterday on here tomorrow. Don't wanna push it with the head tonight. I don't get the stomach sick headaches too often any more... but for yrs after the accident I was plagued with them... so I'm gonna be careful...
