Hanna

Mark I cant wait to see her go. Guage and Ribin were both early starters and just that caliber above all the others. Hanna is cut from the same mold. I think the drive in these pups are what seperates them from everything else.
Huntting has been good and bad here. The weather cant make up its mind if it wants to be fall or all out winter.
Smoke pups are gettin it done but these cold frosty nights has been terrible on the tracking. We need a week of warm up to help the pups get on some good running tracks.
Corey Carliton came and bred his Ranger X Jude female to smoke. Minn. Will have some Mad Dog blood to hunt this next year. Corey said the snow is 16 inches deep and they cant hunt much right now so he decided to breed Judy while the winter is like it is.

The Real Deal

Paul got to hunt with Roy/Timmy's young Deal dog (Smoke x Blueberry) Sat night. They turned him loose 3 times alone, he hit three tracks and treed 3 singles. Paul says he is for real and will finish quickly in the hunts. NICE! NICE! NICE!..........Tim

Thanks for the compliments on Deal. We have three littermates to him that are goung to good also.
Bill good to see yoy and get to hunt with you guys again.
Tim, Pauls John III pup is a get in the dark and get treed dog too. He is a nice dog.
ICB, thanks we just wish there woyld have been more then one.LOL Mark and Corey are going to try a couple more crosses on the Jet V semen. Could be smore more in two or three months.

Took Hanna tonight again by herself and I think the light came on! She got in there about 925 yards and struck and tree in a few minutes with the meat. We drove to within 600 yards of her and had to hoof the rest of the way but it was worth it. I feel the longer she treed the harder she treed. Made one other dump and ran it pretty good until it got into a swamp / clear cut and it was all down hill after that! She sure did not want leave the track and was a little hard headed about obeying the command come here!

I hunted Robin tonigjt with our new game warden. Now you know that Im a straight shooter when I hunt with the law.LOL Robin showed a slick right out of the gate and then got right and had three up a tree 80 yards away. She got a little excited getting to go huntting for the first time in over a month. She settled in and git it done right on the next one at .69 miles deep . We were soaking wet and called it a night. The game warden wants to go again so Ill prob take him again next week. All in all he is a good guy just has a job to do but likes to hunt himself.I tried to tell him about all the screwed up laws they enforce but dont think I convenced him to change any of them.
Sounds like Hanna is cranking. Id like to hunt her with Robin and see if they are cabon copys of each other. Sounds like she is.

Boy now look now is brown nosing! I use to hunt with a boy going to be a game warden but had to move north once he made the grade. He too was a nice young man that still today likes to hunt. Still looking at Jan. to head your way for a hunt and fun! I just hope now Hanna holds off on coming in heat until after coon season, (10) months old so should be any time!

Hunt

What a night. Deal treed a 20 lb coon right at 760 yards on the first dump.
Turned Robin and Dee (Deals litter mate sister ) loose and they treed about 200 yards from the truck and had another big big coon.
Turned Deal loose again and he put one in a brush pile.
Turned loose at another spot and Deal gets treed 600 yards in and Tim starts in to him and a guy that lives up the road comes out and starts shooting his gun. I hollered at him and he quits but ends up calling the law. The deputy gets here and has no problem with us . We have permission to hunt this spot but this guy owns 20 acres across the road and wants to control the whole section. After 40 years of coon hunting and being shot at so many times you just have to take it in stride.
This country is getting to be something ain't it.

Deal

Here's a couple pictures of Deal. He's been treeing us a lot of coons this season. Been hunting him byhimself only for about the last 45 days. He's about 17 months old now. Deal's really proving himself too us, being a very well balanced hound. Hunts very hard, quick strike, good locate rolls over into steady chop. Likes to get split a lot. Very good percentage of accuracy. He will get pushed in the hunts this year and hopefully in the big hunts if he's got what it takes to be a consistent winner like his dad. Dad and I have decided he is the nicest young dog we've ever had our hands on. Not trying to brag on him just giving everybody an update that has asked. Come for a hunt with him anytime.

We hunted Deal again and he is teeing the rough tracks and putting the grease on the limb. He is making a tuff little hound. Tim has a video from night before last where Deal treed a 25th or better boar that give him fits once we shot it out.LOL Super big Ole tuff boar that stood on his back legs and would attack Deal . Deal had his his hands full for a while.LOL.
Smoke and Deal have both been Performance for 2015.
We have been hunting Deals litter mate bro and sis and they are going to be super nice dogs also.This whole litter is turning out great.
We will push all three of them in the hunts come spring.

Loud Mouth Ralph

Ralph is Deals litter mate we own with my nephew kyle. Kyle is 13 and started him on their farm running loose now dad and I have been hunting him. He is starting to come along pretty good. He has a very good mouth and becoming a really hard tree dog. The last two nights he's looked very good so I thought I would post a pic. One tree he winded two big coons layed up in an oak and was sittin right underneath the big limb they were layin on, treein his butt off. Kyle named him right "Loud Mouth Ralph." He needs a lot of hunting but should make a pretty nice dog. He's also has some looks to spare!
