You need to be able to remember the era to really enjoy this...

It was a hot Saturday evening in the summer of 1960 and Fred had a date with Peggy Sue. He arrived at her house and rang the bell.

"Oh, come on in!" Peggy Sue's mother said as she welcomed Fred in. "Have a seat in the living room. Would you like something to drink? Lemonade? Iced tea?"

"Iced tea, please," Fred said. Mom brought the iced tea."So, what are you and Peggy planning to do tonight?" she asked.

"Oh, probably catch a movie, and then maybe grab a bite to eat at the malt shop, maybe take a walk on the beach..."

"Peggy likes to screw, you know," Mom informed him.

"Uh...really?" Fred replied, with raised eyebrows.

"Oh, yes!" the mother continued . "When she goes out with her friends, that's all they do!"

"Is that so?" asked Fred, incredulous.

"Yes," said the mother. "As a matter of fact, she'd screw all night if we let her!"

"Well, thanks for the tip," Fred said as he began thinking about alternate plans for the evening.

A moment later, Peggy Sue came down the stairs looking pretty as a picture wearing a pink blouse and full circle skirt, and with her hair tied back in a bouncy ponytail. She greeted Fred.

"Have fun, kids," the mother said as they left.

Half an hour later, a completely disheveled Peggy Sue burst into the house and slammed the front door behind her.

"The Twist, Mom!" she angrily yelled at her mother."The ****ed dance is called the TWIST!

dont like it raw...medium well will do..green beans, fried tators and onions, cole slaw, mac and cheese, with a glass of milk or sweet tea THAT WILL DO

Morn'n, muggy this morn'n

Corky, those are smoked mullet, but it sure is hard to beat fresh fried mullet. Lot of people dont like em, but most have not had real fresh.

Thanks on all the CONGRATS! We ARE very excited!

NICE pix everyone! I Like the way those lil fish look. Not sure if I'ld like the flavor? I'm a bit weird on what fish I like and my taste has changed over the years...I USED to like blue fish best...now I don't care for it! I LOVE salmon. I also love canned sardines...LOL... I'll try anything...and I tell ya if I don't like it too....

All's well here. BUSY weekend. Doing a cookout in RI with friends tomorrow(Now that I'm thinking about how my tastes have changed...I sure HOPE I still love steamers!) They are doing up a whole lotta steamed clams and some other stuff(one guy has shellfish allergy).... Good friends so it'll be nice. Then after that we're supposed to hear some Philharmonic Orchestra( I assume from RI) perform outdoors at a nice park. Hope we don't eat tooooooo much cause Bob will doze off...LOL...

The weather has been utterly glorious! Tonight after I fed the dawgs dinner I let them run free in the "rat fields" which used to be the chicken pen...LOL... Daisy catches a rat or two out there...Anyway... it was about 5:30 or so.. and a beautiful cool breeze was making it PERFECT. I asked if they wanted to go in...Webster(the VERY lazy BnT) usually wants to go right in...but when Daisy got ot the gate he LEAPED on her with a growly woof... and off they went! They wrestled and ruff housed and played a while. I let them because Webster wasn't running(full tummy). After a while Daisy did insane puppy runs(she eats a HANDFUL so I wasn't worried)...LOL.. It was one of those days! I spent a LONG time sitting on the porch reading too during the day. I was sitting out there thinking of my freinds Diana having her cancer surgery today and I decided a few 4 leaf clovers would help. I put down my book and found a sunny patch and found enough to coever each of her family members and felt I HAD to find One More For Her...lo and behold... I found a slightly tattered one and it felt RIGHT. She is a bit tattered after her surgeries... so I felt like it was appropriate. After I found one for each of them I sat back down on the porch, thanked God for a beautiful day, asked him to hold her close and went back to reading....
All in all a decent day.... and Bob is down having music night so I know HE is happy! I don't hear them playing so I bet they are yapping instead.... lol...
OH... And I will be working SUNDAY this week... so DO NOT worry if I'm gone a couple days or so!
The dawgs just ran outside like NUTS! Webster was howling away... the baby raccoons in the hayloft must have just come down to eat and play etc... Bob said the loft was a MESS this morning and I laughed and told him I could see the kits had been at the cam...I just have one right behind house now and the pix aren't great...but there is a litter of imps!... I RAN when Daisy got out there cause I thought she was going to get skunked again! BUT the yard was clear...LOL... not sure if I told y'all but she DID get skunked a second time in the last week or so! lol
OK... off to see wassup and I hope you all have a GREAT weekend if I'm not back on here.....
HappyHunting! Tree a couple for me and Bob and for Webster too! (tree a squirrel in day for Daisy?)
