We've had several fellow Coonhunters get in touch with us in regards to sharin & minglin of some genetics in the past couple weeks.

We're honored with the quality females being discussed & will work with & help any body we can. Ain't scared to take'um huntin with'um,No excuse',none nota. They can speak for themselves.

"WE", are about the dawgs & forward progression of our breed while keeping a grip on the traits the breed has been known for with a lil touch of "VROOM VROOM" & a tad of upgradin,"IF" we can........

The search most likely will never end,but,"WE" can all keep strivin for it~!~

Bree did a really nice job with Bentley last night. Brought them home and neither one had had enough as I had to tell them to be quiet a few times before I finally dozed off.

During the night Bree broke her snap, and I could hear her treeing in a hole that is behind the neighbor's shop. She didn't need any help on that one!

Sure am excited about her, WHAT A MOUTH!!!

Good thing there is no house, just a building to store their construction equipment. With the Pecatonica River just across the road from me, and cornfields all around me, the dogs usually have coon scent in their nostrils as it is.

Settin around a bon~fire at Dan's tonight listenin to coon squabble & carry on the whole time rite in the yard. Seem's we got us a good crop of kit's this year. Thats good cuz they's purty rare in these parts last summer.

I think its gonna be a good year for "seed coon" too Russ. I've seen and heard more kits in dens this spring while hunting than any other time I can remember. Just checked out a den last night that I had seen kits in a few weeks ago. They looked like they were only a couple weeks from venturing out. Already were crawling up the walls inside the tree. Bryce was along and got to see them and hear them chattering. He asked if he could take one home and sleep with it.lol Sow was in there too, I should of told Grandpa to reach on in there and grab one for your grandson.

YEAH,gramps shoulda retched the lad up one!

We seen some the other night that was crawlin around the rocks. Run a sow into a lil pocket & she had at least one or two with no escape. Lucky for her "Moe" was there alone or it coulda got real ugly! Most coon are as big as her...LOL!!

I'd be bottle feedin baby coon while I'm tendin to our lil English Bulldawg puppies. With eight housedawgs I'm not so sure that could work out for the best?

Sucks gettin your "Showdawgs" toar up week before the Nat'l event.Convinced one of the Mt lion's thats becoming more frequent in these parts. Trail cam's don't lie. We dumped'um rite on it unbeknown to us. Am proud to say that whatever it was got the snot run outa it. "Carly" had the lead majority of the time. She can get up on the wheel!

Cousin "Carly" got a 18" gash from her neck off to the side & then down her spine. I mean'ta tell ya a nice one!! Opened up for skinnin type. Both was bleedin outa the mouth excessively. "Patch" bout lost a lung with a tear/puncture at the back of his ribs & in a couple other spots. "Carly" has an awful good puncture in her neck as well. Super glued up & so far so good. They had traveled 5 1/2 miles in some truly god forsakin country in a hour plus. Through the bluffs & tumblin rocks thru the majority of the valley. Never strayin far from the ledges or far from the worst of it.

I knew it was a matter of time till we got hooked up on some of our newer residents. A bobcat seen down the road a mile or so the other night as well. Take our chances with most of'um cept them overgrown canines.

A shadow has been cast upon our plans........ ~!~
