I have been doing a little mule riding lately. And i seen a Clyde x Chance pup swim the other day that looks pretty good for the first time but forgot to take pictures. sorry

Glad to hear Jason's pup is swimming! Several of the Clyde X Chance pups are turning out to be good swimmers.

Aubrey actually went coonhunting this weekend, twice! It's been pretty busy and hot around here lately, but temps were decent, and nothing going on this past weekend, so......

Friday night Steve, Lori, Cody, and Dusty came down for a hunt, and they brought Dusty's walker female. Aubrey took Tater and blew the dust off of Star as well. They had an enjoyable hunt and made a few trees.

This is what i have been up to since it has been too hot for hunting. Terry Goza brought his mules over so i have been riding them and having fun. A great way to check scouting cameras.

Thanks, Scott. Only way it would have been any better would be if you were there to shake the puddin's out of Aub every time the dog treed.......scratch that, there wouldn't be much of Aub left.

Dogs look good Carl.
I was out last night also. Hit the honey hole again for some Uni training. She broke 2 tracks last night. First one she quit on. They ended up in the head tall marsh grass. The last one her and JJ put one up. Uni don't strike in until its hot.
She's a chop on track. For now anyway. Nothing on the tree yet. But she's at the tree when I get there. Time to trap one.
I'd been having trouble with Uni mauling JJ. I put the e-collar on her last weekend and poured it to her. She shut down for the night. She sat in the box for the rest of that night.
No mauling last night. All business now. Love them e-collars..

Uni - well that's just what ya get for hunting a red Leopard Hound, Scott. She may look like a Redbone, but it's just not the same. Hopefully that Redbone pup you got coming from Tom will be the ticket.

Carl, dogs look real good. Like that pic of Dance on the tree.

Aubrey hasn't had the dogs out this week, but he'll have to get after it here next week. Got that Redbone Sectional at Wilton in 2 weeks....come one come all.....lets make 'em see RED!!!!

I was back at it last night. But no pictures i cut up a creek they got deep never heard a word almost 800 yards said they were treed but now it raining still can't hear them so i have to go get wet. I find them in a bulldozer pile. With coon damage all over in the corn field right next to it.

Aub took Tater out last night for a drop. Got deep and treed with the meat.

Bill Gudgeon called and let him hear Skeeter....she tracked and treed her own coon last night and did a real nice job. Krista left a message of her locating and treeing. NICE!

Thanks for going with last night had a good hunt except when the coyotes chased the dogs off of the tree hard to handle that kind of fang pressure. Its not good when you are in the middle of things with no gun. Maggie got bit in the hind quarters and Chief about lost his ear.

It was a good night overall, but a bad way to end it for Chief and Maggie with those coyotes. We're thankful Cherry was split with Tater that drop and didn't get ate up. It seems like those coyotes get thicker and braver every year. Sounds like you guys had a couple of good drops before that though. Aub got a couple pic......its kind of neat to look at these two pics side by side.....Tater resembles his Momma Maggie quite a bit.

Maybe I should get a red dog. That way I could get enough money from selling hides that I could afford to buy the Fox Pro call that I want, and I could eradicate some of those yotes in my "down time".
