Well you would be surprised.

Some people post things that are weird but many post the links to the actual studies and have the credentials to understand the actual data and not get info third hand from a politician or the news media that quite frankly does not have the ability to understand the data.

We have all lost the ability to simply say "I don't know.". We have to, within minutes make hard fast decisions and positions on everything.

Maybe, but other times people that are experts are discounted because their actual scientific knowledge doesn't align with the current PC culture and taking medical advice from a politician or celebrity.

The experts know more than the politicians and celebrities because they are many times only regurgitating half truths or misconceptions because they couldn't understand the actual data or the instructions of the experts.

We have seen alot of that in this situation.
