I am posting some random old pictures since photo bucket is no longer available. Here is one with my boy from last year’s club hunt. He would have been two, and he was tired at 12 deadline.
Earl Howell, Finley and myself. I was hunting my smoke dog.

Thanks Jeff.

We will have to tree some this winter together.

Had a good time at Monroe County CHA show tonight. Charlie Wyatt beat me with his nice footed Target dog.

Here is a pic of a sick coon this year. I saw a lot on f them.

PKC UKC Dual Gr Ch Night Hawk Sid HTX

Hi,

Sid's first ad will be coming out in the American Cooner in the December issue. Sid is PKC and UKC registered. He will be a 2018 Performance Sire. For those who are PKC enthusiasts, any litter can be Super Staked.

Sid's first litter is on the ground and they are nice. Call Jeff for details 660-888-1717. Austin Creason is thinking about breeding his Black Creek Doc female that placed second in the 2017 Bear Creek Classic to Sid.

Art Kiger of Overton, NE, Jeff Wyatt of New Franklin, Mo and myself have formed Midwest Finley River Kennels. Art's phone number is 308-325-0375.

Sid's stud fee will be $400. Pups available from time to time.

Good Hunting,
Robert

Here is one of my favorite pictures. George Shurvington and Kevin Mathis and my boy went to Seligman earlier this year. Would like to go on another trip early this year after coon season.

Excited to see if you get some females bred Robert and Jeff.

Can’t wait to get back to hunting. Trying not square away personal things so I can concentrate on hunting regularly. Hopefully by the time deer season is over I can hit it.

Had a very enjoyable evening last night. Treed one real big coon and one den tree. Smoke had to go a distance for them but we were able to drive the ranger right to her.
I am not messing with any pups this year because my three year old boy is going. I love pups but with a child going I don’t have time for the foolishness that inevitably comes with young dogs.

Posting an ad for Sid.

Very cool an ad for Sid came out. I have a pup out of him. We will see!
Been having some good hunts. Last night it was just dens and dozer piles. Did see one coon in a den. Still an enjoyable hunt though! Looking forward to hunting tomorrow night. Full moon!

This is my boy and Smoke. We had a great time at our club’s fur hunt last night. Treed plenty of coons for the moon being out and they even caught one one water.

Congratulations to Kevin Mathis. I saw his hound was in New issue of Coonhound Bloodlines for making show champion.

Thoughts on world hunt

I applaud UKC for how they handled the 2017 world hunt. Only in coon hunting would we have so many complain an organization was trying to maintain integrity in its events.
Also I think many classless ythings were said about the hosting club. It takes so much work to even throw a little hunt, I can’t imagine a world hunt!

We Are lucky to even get clubs to offer. If you don’t like where a hunt is held don’t go! but to complain is just really classless.

I think it is great the guys down south got a hunt. I am also thankful they move the hunt around. I remember when X Jr. Won right in our backyard and I got to see all of that. Some registries never move around which makes it not as neat.
