Thank you guys for the complements. Good thing happen when you get these hounds in the woods and give them a chance to develop. "It's in the blood". I give ALL the breeding credit to guys like Tim and Paul Vaughn, Ed Mead, Ron Taylor, Harry Tipton, Steve Kitchen and a cast of thousands after that.
I sure do like what we have in the kennel right now. They are the best we've owned in 30 plus years of chasing these hounds.......... Jon

I have not spoken to Harry in a long time. I'm sure I would not even have a current number to reach him. At one time I was told he did have some straws on Duke. Are they still good? That would be a good question....... Jon

There was just another litter of Joker pups born in Iowa. Sounds like a litter of 10 of they all make it..... that would give Joker 39 pups on the ground all less then 10 weeks old........... Jon

The female is a NITECH out of Mackie Manns Pounder dog......

That is a good looking pup, his head is colored up a lot like Old Jokers. The bawl face darkened up to where a person wouldn't notice it until he got old then it turned grey. If that pup makes half the dog that his Daddy or Grand daddy was someone will get a real nice hound. It's In The Blood........Tim

My Queen female is in heat so I I have been hunting Joker the last few nights.... He is here anytime someone wants to see him go. Just be prepared. When I cut him WE ARE GOING HUNTING . Some nights he gets a coon treed 25 ft from the truck. Some nights a mile and a half away. One thing I will promise is when we get to him, you will see a coon.............. Jon
