Gary my pup is doing good. My dad and I took her out the other night with my male redbone. It was her first night to the woods and there were some things that spooked her in the beginning of the hunt but once she calmed down she started to venture a little. My male ran a track and had to swim a big creek and got treed on the other side with two coons. We couldnt cross but the pup tried to get to him a couple times but once she got deep enough she had to swim would come back so I thought that was impressive for a 5month old to even try that. The last drop we made she wondered out about 100 yds and was trying to follow my male a little. He stuck close and treed about 200yrds from us and when I checked the gps she was at the tree right after he located. She never opened up but was walking around under the tree sniffing around. We tied her back and shot it out and once I knew it was dead we let her get a hold of it and she liked that. We ended on a good note and I will let her think about that for a week or 2 and take her again.

Shine has some major horse power and can get through the country in a hurry.This is a hell of weight loss program hunting this sucker in the hills lol.Shine has treed four coon in the last two nights,two of them he went over a mile and was treed when we got to him.This little dude acts like a Wipeout bred walker dog!

We give it Hell in Mississippi,won our cast Friday night but didn't have enough to get a Nitech win.Saturday night we had no luck.Hunted with some great guys and hounds and got to catch up with a lot of folks.Great time at the Winter Classic as usual.
