Had a pretty good hunt tonight. Took The Cleta female of mine. First drop she got in there bout 100 yards struck ran it down the creek bout another 75 yards rolled up and had him. Second drop she hit a bad track and worked it out ran it 450 yards made a loop came back towards us got back in to around 250 yards rolled up and had it! We called it quits early!

Alright Max we are in the process of building us a little pen for some pups. The size is 20 feet wide and 30 feet long. Dog boxes will be in a building setting on concrete floor, should help with keeping their bedding dry and warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer with the fans in the building. Got some good wire and new post and getting ready to set the post and stretch the wire. Not looking to keep the pen full, just looking to give the little ones plenty of running room for a few months or until they are ready to mess with. Looking to keep at least three top breed Blue pups and one out cast as we are going to breed Pockets to Zeb 3 as soon as she come in and it should be last of Dec. or first part of Jan., yes I know a Holstein but should be one hell of a cross! Having fun with Hanna right now and ready for a few more challenges! LOL! Got your pens ready?

Took the Cleta female by herself! She done a nice job! First drop ran and treed 170 yards from the truck had the coon. Second drop ran and treed 280 yards from truck had that coon! She is coming on very well. She is very independent and very accurate!!! my kinda dog! lol

Max we took Blaze ( same cross as Riptide) 6 months old - tonight with Riptide and made three dumps. First dump right at 725 yards and treed with a double. This was the second night Blaze was in the woods. Blaze barked a few times and got up on the tree a little while we were shooting. She took a hold of the coon and ran a drag and treed on the treed but did not have the coon hanging in the tree, she treed on the tree without seeing it in the tree and let me tell you she was telling the world! Think Jerry was O.K. with the end results! LOL! Second dump was a dry run, no tracks and the third dump ran about 600 yards and treed in the ground, called it a night!

It was good to be out tonight, wish the coons were moving a little better to get some good tracks,but Blaze's education has begun. I really like her looks and actions so far. Max thanks again

I'm glad u are liking her Jerry! She looks good all stretched up there treeing!!! Good luck with her and just keep on her now u got her going the right way!!Lol. I got to hunt with a littermate male pup to her last night that is coon crazy!!! I'd say he gonna make it too!! I have 2 more of these pups I'm gonna sell that have not even been messed with yet. If ya know anyone else looking for a pup. Again good luck and have fun with her

Well Max got tired of messing around. Broke down and bought me a Garmin (4 ) mile shocking unit with extra collars. No where to run now! Other unit worked but with hunting the young ones and one of the older ones they like to try me at times if you know what I mean and that just don't get it with me, let the obeying begin! LOL! How has your hunting going?

Lol!! Yeah they have to learn to listen and obey that's for sure!! Hunting has been pretty good but we can't hunt again this weekend cause of second gun season for deer!

Max big boy is not four weeks old yet but he sure likes food. I think Roy and family are pampering him a little! LOL! Looking to head out to Kansas in Jan. and take a hunt with Roy and whoever else is around.

Took a hunt tonight with Jerry and his blaze pup off of Sledge and Jade. Made 2 dump treed 1 time it was slick but the water was out of the creek banks. On the 2nd dump got treed went in there and the big boar coon fell out of the tree and hit jerry in the head knocked him down in the swamp his glasses went flying and he was swimming in the swamps more the the dogs were. LOL After the we called it a night jerry was soaking wet.

Max we took Riptide and Blaze tonight, Jerry and myself as Corey was too busy! LOL! First dump was in the hills and treed in about 20 minutes and had only ended up walking roughly 230 yards, had it. Popped it out for Blaze and she dove in and was stretching it with Riptide, camera at home! Second dump hit and treed about 450 yards and got there and it was a loaded and I mean loaded persimmon tree and yes it was blank! Went a looked up some other hunting spots and after dropping off Jerry I seen several people hunting and this was a first all year. Someone told me they had a meat hunt and seemed it brought out a few dollar hunters. One funny thing was one group was checking a trap and was in the meat hunt, and some wonder why more don't hunt these, had two live catch traps and one coon so far. Now that was helping their dogs and pockets both! LOL!

Max we took Blaze tonight with Riptide and Riptide and Blaze one the first dump red hot and caught it in a ditch. Deer all over the corn field and crossing the ditch as well. Blaze did open real good on this one, also lost a lot more meat off her nose along with Riptide. Next drop was at 960 yards, Riptide treed an old den, Blaze did get in there and tree also, she is starting to check trees and work the tracks.

Took a hunt tonight with Max Jr., Max Sr., Kody, Dan and Corey. Hounds we took were Indy II, Sledge, Hanna and Dozer. We made four trees, two dens, one blank and one with a coon on the outside and being the only small tree all night, go figure! First dump they treed at about 650 yards and others were about another 400 yards further in, both big dens. Second dump they treed at about 875 yards with the meat. Third dump they treed in some rough stuff at about 825 yards but it was blank! Ran some good fast tracks and got to see some good work! Thanks for the hunt guys and we will be back!

Boy Max it looks like Hanna and Pockets both are waiting to come in heat at the same time, Pockets due this month and Hanna 11 months should be any time. Would not shock me as that is normally how it works out with females. All your females are to come in pretty soon aren't they? You and your dad are too low on hounds and need a few more! LOL!

That's for sure bout them coming in all at once!! No we got a plenty still!! Just don't have any pups right now but got marlens female here due to have some Indy pups any day!! Probly be this week since its gonna be down to 1� at night!

You may just to hear anything! Keep them warm as them old pups out of Indy should be something special, may just look like a Blue dog should also!
