Max we took three of them tonight. We took Riptide, Rugar and Miss Pain. First drop they hit about 250 yards and drove one across an old road and went another 400 plus yards and had the meat. They did a real nice job as most of it was cut over. On the second dump Corey got a picture and a short clip before the battery went dead. The little 8 month walker bitch was turning the crank. Treed good with them and even better after we pulled Rugar and Tide back. She does not like leaving a tree. Long ways to go yet but I believe she will get there. Taking her and Rugar tomorrow night I think. Two for two is not bad for a short hunt.

Wild man we are trying to thin down and get a few super stake pups to hit the hunts with. Got one Holstein and getting another Blue female from Roy Clifton out of Gauge and his Grand Nite Robin Bitch. Going to Keep Riptide and two pups and hoping for a surprise one next week! LOL!! Treeing and wild cats lately?

Took Riptide and the little Holstein and made two dumps and two trees, one den and one on the outside. The one big den Riptide got by himself, he gets lucky once in a while. Kinda a like a blind squirrel, they can even find a acorn once in a while! Hit the big timber tonight and seemed the coons were moving as we seen one crossing the road right down the road from where we turned loose. There is still a few coons out in the Government ground!

I see nothing wrong her looks and she seems to be content on staying in the house, how do you keep them all I the house Roy? LOL! Plans are giving her plenty of time with Tide as we sold off a few to make room and have plenty of time and attention. Corey is feeling that she will be hitting the corn field chasses and be ready for the season so not big plans there huh!

Max sending in Riptides papers to get him PKC registered. Hell you never know, might get him in a few bigger PKC hunts as well. It would fool them to put a Blue Dog in there with all the Walkers. I thought letting him get a little more age on him prior to the grind would help him, age helps when hunting with the ones that like to rule the tree. He is not three until mid-April so he should have a few good years yet! Some disagree with me but then again I have been accused of not knowing much about a hound so this fits right in.

Here is one picture and one short clip of our hunt tonight. Made two dumps and made three trees, one den and two coons. Seems everything was running tonight. Seen one coon cross the highway, one mink and one albino doe. We hunted some government land at a place the call Indian lake. Turned loose up a couple big hollers and ditches and hit coons pretty quick tonight. The little Holstein did good on two out of three but she is now getting in there 500 to 700 yards so she is starting to range off with Tide pretty good, still a project! We thought Pain was 9 months old but looked at her papers and she will be 9 months March 17, not doing bad for her age. Pain does not just go in and back dogs, she has to get up there and smell it or she will not tree or back a dog and so far she has been real accurate for a Holstein! Next in line is the Blue pup from Roy Clifton, corn field time is realistic!

Max the Garmin and DC50 was won by Corey, not a happy camper huh! LOL! Corey's phone would not work down in Kentucky where we were hunting and he could not keep up with all the good gossip! The dog we hunted with was 6 for 6 in less than two hours!

Max here is a picture of one tree tonight with Riptide and Pain. Two dumps and two trees, one den and one coon on the outside. The one with the short video was the one they ran threw a swamp and did a real nice job on it. Miss Pain bailed in and lasted the 680 yards and blew the top out of it. Hope Tide keeps her in line!! Got our rooms booked for Bluetick day all three nights so we will be trying our luck and hoping to see some good Blue dogs in action, an old man like me needs his rest!!

Max All Holstein's have a shot of cur or yote. You can tell by the looks of their head. But then again you can here that high pitch chatter!

Thanks Terry! The little White female is doing pretty good and Riptide is Still Riptide. He takes as it comes, one nice young dogs to pleasure hunt, train pups with and just maybe win another hunt or two!

Took a little hunt tonight with Riptide and Pain. First dump they made a circle about 750 yards and struck and got treed on a nice used den, hair all around the hole. Second dump Riptide and Pain split up about 600 yards from us and Pain circle back around too us, Tide went another couple hundred yards and struck and fell treed with the coon. Corey waded the river so to say the least he was wet and cold so we called it a night. He know understands what it is like to go up and beyond the call of duty!

Took a short hunt tonight and made two trees, one den and one coon. Had two good chases and the little Holstein has a locate a kid could call. See improvement each time we take her and that is what it is all about. One that aggravates me don't stick around here very long, life is too short! Trying to get a little winter fat off of Tide as he will need it off here before long.
