Taking Rugar tonight by himself, need some solo time on the pup so he gets the confidence he will need later on! He is heading the right direction on being independent!

Max I'm almost ashamed to put down here what we did tonight. In one hour and thirteen minutes we dumped loose three times and made three trees. Seen coons on two trees and one tree we could not shine. The first place we sat in a guys porch swing and let Rugar and Riptide head down over the hill into the river bottom, hit a track about 150 yards and treed about 325 yards from us, talked a few minutes and went and seen the first one. Next dump we went the same place we took you, your son and dad when you came up, treed one there at about 75 yards, no track just treed and could not shine it. Next dump Riptide and Rugar split up and Rugar struck about 250 yards from us. Riptide went to him and they ran about 150 yards and treed and seen it. One of Rugar's better nights, did a real nice in the water and is the second time he split up and did his own thing.

I guess we should just call him a project! LOL!

We took another trip up north and got a couple Blue pups from Max and his dad. Took a short hunt with (5) hounds out of old Tango and we made (4) trees in a little over two hours. Four were pups that just turned 9 months old and one three year old. Good hunt and had some fun. Max's son was in the drivers set all night. LOL!!!! Layden is good little man Max, keep him hunting Zone this summer! Jerry will have his hands full now, no more couch potato for Jerry!

Here is a pic of both the females at 9 weeks old that Jerry P. got from you guys yesterday. The Pups are out of Tango and a female out of uncle pen. They are already work in progress. That makes 5 out of Old Tango down here people better watch out. LOL

Thanks Jerry. Yeah keep us posted on them hope they turn out for ya. We will definitely have to go for a hunt again. We could have had a better hunt but all in all wasn't bad all dogs caught and no junk so that's a plus!

Max we took Rugar by himself again tonight. First dump he hit about 200 yards and treed but never got on it right, did not push him and after I got tired of the trying to tree we got him and moved. Second dump he hit in about 75 yards and ran another 175 and treed, had the coon on a big old oak tree. He did a nice job running it in fences, water and cattle but he never did roll it over with the hard chop like normal, but he stayed and had the coon! That is the main thing for now!

Good deal! Yeah track,tree,stay, and have the coon that's the main thing. I will try and get Corey some pics of ol blue. I been busier than I want to be last couple days worked over then had the boys soccer games and then hitting the bed cause been going in early too.

they are doing real nice Max, they are darkening up and good looking pups. we will keep you guys posted. anyone looking for a nice pup should get a hold of Max he may have one or two yet from this litter and i beleive he has another nice cross on the way. thanks again Jerry
